Unigear 1000D Leg Gaiters

These worked great for snowshoeing.

Used the for hiking and the did a great job.

These are great shin protectors specially for weed trimming or at least in my case it was what I bought them for. The only downside (not the products fault) I choose the wrong size I’m 6ft1 223 pounds. I had opt for the large size. I thought these would fit my calves and they did but a little to much to late lol I should have ordered ☝️the medium. They will wrap my legs so far that the Velcro almost goes past the connection point. One thing to mention however I’m wearing these around my legs bare not with pants leggings. I’m sure that has little to do. My suggestion is if your my size as mentioned above, don’t go with the L’s go with the medium instead. Other than that they are made really well!

I like to walk when it’s snowing or right after so my pant legs always got wet so I ordered these. They’re absolutely great. My pants stay dry and the snow doesn’t stick to the gaiters. I wish I would have thought to buy them years ago 👍👍

Your size will be determined by both Calf Circumference and Shoe Size. For the boots the goal is to have a tight wrap around them so that snow can not accumulate between the gaiter and boot. The pictures show how Gaiters Size L (which is the recommended size for Shoe Size 9) was too big for both our boots. For the calf you are aiming to create light pressure under the top of the calf when the gaiters are strapped. This is to prevent the gaiters from sliding down and snow getting in. You can use us as reference: Wife Gaiters size S fits both her boots and her calf. Calf Circumference: 14 inch Boot Size: 9 (Woman's) Myself Gaiters size M works good for my boots but there is still plenty of space on the calf. See video for reference on how much I have to tighten the strap on the calf. Calf Circumference: 15 inch Boot Size: 9 (Men's) I am giving this product 5 stars because it is great value for the money and they are comparable to Outdoor Research Crocodile GORE-TEX Gaiters ($90). We use them for heavy mountaineering, so far we haven't been able to puncture them with the crampons. Breathability is not phenomenal, so no the best for warm weather but on cold weather they stay dry in deep snow. I tried hard to find anything significant to complain about but was not able to find something.

Seem to be a good product, however there is very small amount of adjustment my measurements said Large and I am returning it for Medium

They seem durable and easy to use. To small for my winter boots, should have gotten a size bigger. Fit perfect with my summer hiking boots,waterproof and perfect for the cost.

As soon as I got these in the mail, I had to give them a try. We’ve gotten about 2 1/2 feet of snow and my dog really needed a walk so I put these on and off we went. I intentionally walked through deeper snow, about 3/4 up my shin. Not one bit of snow got in, and anywhere that these covered was toasty warm at the end. The fabric is thick and seems really tough, the Velcro is really strong, I also like how they have overlapping Velcro flaps at the bottom to ensure that it stays sealed. The hook stayed on my bootlace for the whole walk and the top strap kept the gaiters in place. Highly recommended!

Bardzo solidnie wykonane, jak na załączonych zdjęciach. Mam wątpliwości co do paska zapinanego pod podeszwą (wykonany z tworzywa sztucznego podobnego do silikonu, ale się nie rozciąga), niemniej gdyby kiedyś się uszkodził, to jest dodatkowy haczyk pozwalający umocować do sznurówki obuwia, to wystarczy. Bardzo solidne zapięcie, jak i materiał z jakiego są wykonane.

Die Gamaschen haben mich in die schottischen Highlands begleitet und ich muss sagen, ich habe erst an Ihnen gezweifelt aufgrund Klettverschluss zum Verschließen. Als wir schön in den Sümpfen unterwegs waren, kamen Sie zum ersten mal zum Einsatz. Das Anlegen hat etwas länger gedauert als bei Anderen die einen Reißverschluss hatten. Der Klettverschluss war überraschen stabil und selbst nach viel Wassereinfluss, im Sumpf mit dem Fuß versinken und Kontakt mit Bewuchs, Ästen, Steinen muss ich sagen, der Reißverschluss hielt bombenfest. Am Fuß ist noch ein kleiner Quer Reißverschluss, der zur Sicherung dient. Gebraucht hätte es ihn nicht, es hielt alles. Die Fußschlaufe ist gut verstellbar und einfach in einer Schlaufe verstaubar, so dass sie beim Laufen nicht stört. Das Anlegen war relativ einfach und ging recht gut, dank der tollen Passform der Gamaschen. Sie sind höchst wasserabweisend und haben keinen einzigen Tropfen durch gelassen. Mein Schuh war immer geschützt ! Selbst als ich im Sumpf stand mit Schuh unter Wasser (Der Schuh sollte hierfür natürlich auch wasserdicht sein ;-) ) Die Gamaschen haben es unbeschadet überstanden und einen großartigen Dienst geleistet. Im Gegensatz zu Mitreisenden, die Gamaschen mit Reißverschluss gewählt hatten. Dort war der Verschluss oft verschmutzt und musste gereinigt werden, bevor man ihn verschließen konnte. Einem ist der Reißverschluss sogar gerissen. Das passiert mit Klett nicht. Und Verschmutzung ist absolut kein Problem - sie lassen sich immer verschließen. Rundum ein tolles Produkt, das nicht viel wiegt und sehr schnell trocknet. Würde ich ohne Frage jederzeit wieder kaufen !

A strong product with easy fit design. Velcro and conventional straps hold them firmly in place. The velcro so effective that it grips your woollies so keep your jumper clear as it grips very firmly. These are great for protection trousers legs when hiking, scrambling etc, but I needed them to keep sawdust out of my boots while using a chainsaw which is a near daily job this time of year. They are especially good for this purpose and have simple fit making fitting and removal easy especially useful if muddy at the time. Brilliant pair of gaiters for many possible uses.
