Lids keeps popping off. Piece of junk!!

I bought a set of these at a local wholesale club about a year ago. In theory, they should work well, but they don't, with the one exception of the large lid that fits over their clear plastic bowl. That's the only one that holds a tight seal. They just don't maintain a suction when covering anything else, not to mention fitting awkwardly and usually getting bumped because the frame sticks out so much.And if that's not enough, several of them have let go between the film and frame...and into the trash they went.

I really enjoy these and use them fairly often. They're great for sealing regular cereal bowls and other dishes that don't commonly come with lids. They are not without their problems, though.They worked absolutely great... straight out the package. The problem is that they're an absolute nightmare to keep clean. They wind up getting water spots and without being entirely clean they can't get a good seal all the time. I've had to learn tricks to get them to work properly, like moistening the rims of the vessels or really pushing the film in deep to get a serious vacuum going. Once you learn these tricks they work fine; the problem is, you shouldn't really have to jump through such hoops to get a product to work.I don't recommend them specifically, but I don't believe they're a terrible product, either.

These are great! I wish I had a thousand of them in a million sizes. Saves me from using Saran Wrap and they work with my existing bowls, casseroles, etc. My only complaint is that they aren't made in the US. Terrific for the environment as they are reusable.

Just what my title says. I wish I knew about these before buying them at the sams club special.... in fact, I will be contacting Sams club about this as well. I was so excited to try these out when I got home and I was so surprised when everyone walked away when he was finished with the demonstration. I feel really stupid now. It is getting soooo hard to trust anyone or anything any more. I am usually a very positive person and will try again and again... like I did this time.... then got on here and saw all these same reviews.... sorry... very, VERY dissappointed!!!

I have the same problem, the lids no matter what, end up unsealed. I make a tight seal and put it in the fridge, we never touch it nor does it get bumped, but somehow within hours the seal breaks and my food goes bad. maybe these are good for transporting food to picnics for a short ride somewhere. Anything long term, dont count on them preserving your food.

The seal does not keep the vaccum as it was designed to do after the first couple of uses. We also bought 2 additional sets as gifts and the other 2 families do not like this product either.

Love them, received them from my daughter and family and they work great. I believe the negative comments could be that they are not pressing in hard enough to seal good. Mine have never come off even in the fridge.I am now testing them out for keeping lettuce longer. Give them a try you might like them......I truly do
