⚡ Power your smart setup with precision and speed!
The PoE Texas IEEE 802.3af 12V Splitter converts standard PoE (44-56V) into a stable 12V DC output delivering 12 watts of continuous power, while simultaneously providing gigabit Ethernet data. Designed for non-PoE devices like IP cameras, media players, and Arduino projects, it supports all major PoE switches and injectors, extending power and data up to 328 feet with active opto-isolated protection for device safety.

Ground-isolated 802.3af Gigabit PoE Splitter with Type A Barrel Jack
I wanted to use this PoE splitter to power my coax modem connected to my internet provider/ISP Spectrum. The Arris SB6183 that I use comes with a power brick rated for 12 volts and 1 amp, and this PoE splitter provides an equal output. It's also electrically ground isolated as per PoeTexas, which is vital for modems since the coax cable has a separate ground connection at the other end of the wire.I've tried this with non-isolated PoE splitters and the modem will power cycle or in bad cases, fry itself or the PoE switch port it is connected to.Thankfully there were no issues with regard to voltage/ground with this PoeTexas GAF-12V12W v6 splitter. The only issue I had is that it comes with a Type A barrel jack with 5.5 mm OD, 2.1 mm ID sizing. However, the modem I use has a Type B barrel jack with 5.5 mm OD, 2.5 mm ID. In other words, the PoE splitter did not fit into the jack on my modem. I had to cut the cable and solder on a new Type B DC connector. Another option was to buy an adapter, but I had the spare parts around.Everything is now working perfectly. Full gigabit speeds through the splitter and full 12V 1A power draw support from the splitter. The only way to make this better is to have the pigtail for the power output replaced with a barrel jack so a custom cable can be made.

Good after sale support
I bought by mistake this adapter for my ptz optics camera. However, the right one was a EIAJ-04 adapter. POE Texas offered me the right adapter free of charge either by shipping it or by coming in person to their location in Austin, TX.They gave me the right adapter 5 minutes after showing up at their locationGreat service.Shame on PTZ Optics that advertise their camera as a POE camera. You need the adapter as my POE hub could not power on the cameraCorrect me if i'm wrong

Works with Reolink RLC-423 IP Camera
Works like a charm with my Reolink RLC-423 IP Camera. The POE stopped working at the camera (out of warranty) and I didn't want to have it connected with a traditional power adapter. Plugged it in to my existing ethernet cable that was working previously with my POE switch and then to the ethernet jack and 12v jack at the camera and brought it back to life.

Good enough, but the first one was DoA
The first one I received only the PoE worked, no data pass-thru. Thankfully the replacement worked fine!Unfortunately, the power input and the data line on my network device aren't adjacent, so the short cords barely reached.Otherwise, the splitter has been great!

Works well if you use POE ethernet wire.
Not all network wire is created equal. Make sure to do your research on your network wire. Only use an ethernet wire that supports POE. Outside of that, I would recommend this to anyone needing to power your camera over ethernet.

Powers Netgear cable modem (CM1200)
I got this to see if I could power my Netgear CM1200 cable modem from my POE switch. It looks like the answer is yes. To clarify, I got the POE Texas gaf-12v12w, just in case this review gets merged.

Exactly what I needed
I'm using this little guy to power my T-Mobile LTE Gateway so that I can put it in the Attic and get better signal. Not only is it working great, it connects at 1Gbe. Power is being supplied by a Nortel 5200 switch.
