So much better than using apps on the phone scanners. Identified everything correctly when checking ABS light (2011 Ford Edge) Purchased it when it was around 130$

I needed to get a scanner for an evap system problem on my 2015 Corolla. I wanted a simple scanner, but also from a known quality company. There are MANY simple cheap OBD2 scanners out there, but most are from companies I have never heard of. This model (the 1150) has all the features I need and works well. Freeze data and live data are great, and it shows all the basic sensor data/diagnostics that you might need. Turns out I did have to take the car in for a smoke test to find the vacuum leak - and the problem was that a mouse had chewed a tiny hole in the fuel tank vent line. Crazy. I’m a DIY’er for the most part, but a bi-directional scanner would be too much $ for my normal use. This is not bi-directional, not a professional tool, so you can’t command the ECU to do certain tests or close valves, etc. but it is great for what it is, and the screen is really nice and easy to read. I also performed a software update and it did that easily. Note that you do this update from your computer after installing the software from Bosch’s website. You’ll need to use your own micro USB cord for this. It took maybe 10 mins. I really wish there was a case made for it, but I’ll buy a simple one just to keep it protected. I also wish the connecting cord was a little longer, but it’s not a big deal. I definitely recommend this and would purchase this model again.

I think this is good value for this product. Functions very well. So easy to use and great quality. So far I have had no issues or problems. It really works well.
