Hill's Science Diet Multi-Benefit, Adult 1-6, Multiple Benefit, Dry Cat Food, Chicken Recipe, 15.5 lb Bag

My cats love this stuff. If your cats have allergies, this is the stuff for you!

Edit: Unfortunately, Hills Science Diet changed the size of the kibbles so my Bengals will no longer eat this food. Bengals (at least mine) will not eat food that is too large or not shaped like a star so they can easily crunch it into smaller pieces. I had been using Hills Science Diet for years so it's unfortunate they made this change. I'm posting a picture showing the old size (on the left) and the new size (on the right). ---- Old review ---- If you have a Bengal and have come to believe (as I did) that they are the most finicky cats in the world then you should try this food. I came across an article that explained that Bengals, which evolved from a different breed than 99% of other domestic cats, have a different shape to their jaw which makes it difficult for them to chew the round kibbles used by most cat food companies which get caught in their throats. The answer is to feed them kibbles that are star-shaped since it's easy for them to chew and this food by Science Diet is highest quality food I've found with star-shaped kibbles. Give this a try if you have a Bengal that walks away from every other dry food you've given them.

Although the cats like it, I think that the pieces are way too big. Is there another brand that has smaller pieces?

Correction: on my original review I stated the kibble was too large. It depends on the dispenser. We bought a new dispenser and the kibble came out fine! 🙂

It was great for my kitty; she had an allergy problem and is slowly getting better.

This is what our delicate guy needs. Wish we could find better prices.

Ever since I've had cats, this has always been their favorite food! I never dealt with a cat that pukes until I got my last kitten, a medium-long hair, it seemed like every other food we tried, he would be puking it up once or twice a week totally undigested! Ever since we put them back on Hill's Science Diet, between our three cats we maybe have one or two hairballs/vomiting episodes a month if even that! Got a bowl with ridges to slow down our long haired boys eating, but even then with other food brands he would still puke! But never with this food, we always trust this brand to keep our cats healthy and happy, they all have beautiful coats and healthy tummies! I would say It's absolutely worth spending the extra money :)
