I've been buying Fresh From the Field catnip for a few years now. Not only do my cats love it, but I appreciate the quality of the leaves. If you buy catnip from the major pet stores, you'll often notice that there are hard stalks/stems in their blends, and when you rub it between your fingers, it'll often feel sharp, splintery and uncomfortable. This is not the case with stalk-free Fresh From the Field. Great leafy catnip that is a pleasure to scatter around the house!And when my senior cat starts howling randomly, as he sometimes does, I'll give him a few pinches of catnip to either calm him down, or to stimulate his wild boy-like energy, so he can chase his bratty younger step-brother. Solid product!

High quality. Cats love it. I use it to make catnip toys and they are a big hit. I donate a bunch of them to the rescue and each kitty that gets rescued gets a free cat toy.

The 10oz bag lasted my 5 cats 1 year and 4 months. Best quality catnip I've ever seen. My cats love it! It's VERY potent so be careful where you store it. I recommend putting it in a plastic tub with a lid and then keeping that behind a closed door. Also don't store anything else with it or next to it unless you want it infused with the sent. I stored a roll of trash bags in the tub with the cat nip in its own packaging. Now I have to hide the trash bags from the cats because they can smell the nip on the trash bags. Great product, I highly recommend!

The aroma is pleasant, and the texture is similar to dried herbs, making it easy to sprinkle on toys or scratching posts.In conclusion, From the Field Catnip is a decent option for cat owners who can't readily access fresh catnip. It certainly provides some entertainment for your furry friends. However, if you have access to fresh catnip, you may find that your cats respond more enthusiastically to the real deal. It's a decent backup option, but it's just not quite as good as the fresh stuff.

My 2 cats love it, and it’s a very fine grind- finer ground than anything I’ve ever found in person in stores- and there’s a lot less stems in it than anything I’ve ever bought so it makes filling catnip toys easier. They fill the tub to the brim and it’s packed in there, so definitely a great value since finer particles pack with less air in the volume. I switched containers because if it doesn’t have a screw on top, my cat Zelda WILL pop it open and dump it everywhere.

Incredible! I gave my cats recently some crappy stuff I had on hand, thinking how bad could it be? Umm I got 3 prickly slivers stuck in my skin just crumbling it up for them. So I was wondering what it must be like for them when they swallow it? Never again.I searched out catnip with no slivers and this is as one of the first ones I found. After reading the reviews I ordered the 10 oz bag. When it arrived and I gave them some, it was incredible how soft it is! The difference is night and day. The entire bag doesn’t have a single stem, prickly, or sliver.My cats were instantly face down in a pile of it, and they ate it ALL. Nothing to even vacuum up afterward, unlike the other ones I’ve bought them. I couldn’t imagine now giving them something they can’t resist but have to swallow pricklies and slivers in their throat and face just to get some of it.I’ll never go back to any other kind now.
