Great, but...
It only quick-connects directly to a particular model. Don't remember seeing that in the description, but if you've got a modicum of wiring experience, you can make it work. Great length. Solid for the price.Swapped their connector for a different one, added its opposite to the hot wire from the jack, plus the ground wire to the trailer frame, and I've got it set up to use with my 7-pin. Took all of 5 minutes. Honestly better this way. Have another quick connect on my trailer battery, so now I've got redundancy.

Didn't work
Did not work on my 2002 2500 suburban

Great idea and easy install, failed in 4 camp trips
Yes, I went straight to 1 star. The jack is slow as the second coming, it failed after 4 camp trips and the manual back up crank is aneurysm-inducing. Their website isn’t helpful and customer service is only open on weekdays.

Camper Jack
I Installed it on our camper, Not hard at all, Works like a charm, Highly recommend it. The first picture is the the Lippert and the second picture was the old one I replaced.

So far this seems like a great improvement.
I was hesitant to do this upgrade but it seems to make the trailer a lot more stable. Yes, very slow but I love the convenience of hooking up to the tow vehicle for power.

Slow but steady
Replaced my original 5 year old jack with this Lippert. It is surely half as fast as the original, but works good.

Motor was locked up - had to crank it before power would work
The media could not be loaded. On arrival I wired the jack to a 12V lithium battery. Grounded out to the negative battery terminal. Wired red to positive connector. No juice to jack. Ground is in the base connector plate of the jack (poor design). Took unit outside and set up on a steel rod pounded into the ground. Added red wire to positive battery connector. No juice to jack. Took the unit inside, read some forums that said to hit the floor plate with a hammer. That sounds like it would loosen up the motor. Instead of a hammer, I opted for the provided manual wrench. Wrenched on the top of the unit with the manual handle. Re-wired to battery to check operation, and it worked. I'm worried that this is the replacement for a 4 yr old unit that won't extend anymore, and it didn't work new out of the box without some troubleshooting. Crank it before you give up on it working, but wow, what a pain to troubleshoot. Seems like poor engineering.

Great jack
I’ve been using this for almost 3 years now. Only one issue. The three bolts that attach it to the tongue are, in my opinion, insufficient. They can work loose and this allows the jack to wiggle and pry at the tongue plate deforming it. I replaced them with longer bolts and then added washers and nuts on the other side to reinforce the attachment. A minor issue, but should have been included with the jack as standard equipment.

Good Option for Lippert Jacks
Definitely a great feature, especially in Canada. Yes the quality of the plug is quite poor but does the job. In colder climate, like Canada etc, you remove your batteries for the season. With power jack installed the only way to move the trailer would be a battery or manual overwrite. So having a plug straight from your truck / SUV is a great option to move the trailer even when your batteries are dead or removed.Lots of reviews says that this will not work with certain Ford Trucks. This is correct. The wiring in the plug is universal and fits most of the trucks.Took me over an hour troubleshooting and finally got to the conclusion. The difference between ford and other 7 pin plugs is that Ford activates 12V pin(and that's where positive end on the cable is wired to) only when it sense some load on the system. So when you connect this plug to the jack, it will not work as the jack does not have static load like your electric brakes would do for example.Took me some troubleshooting. Ford 7 pin socket will always power the pin for running lights. But for some reason, the cord must be wired opposite to common sense, so the only way it properly works on Ford is: Ground to the running light pin & positive to the negative pin in the plug. Not sure why, but works like a charm this way (make sure your lights are on)l otherwise you will waste some time on it to.So bottom line - more information from lippert would be nice, it's easy to open this plug and change the wires (only two inside) and it definitely makes the experience way more pleasant!

Good value
It was so nice to replace my manual jack with this on my travel trailer. Read reviews first before purchasing this brand, and they were very good. I did have to turn it sideways so my suv liftgate could clear it. I would have given this 5 stars, if they had predrilled holes for the sideways installation. I had to purchase a tap and die set to turn sideways, as there were not screw holes for that modification. I had to find video on you tube with instructions to make this modification.
