No after taste. No negative side effects. I don't take often or many at a time, but they have a calming effect and help to focus or concentrate.

I've been taking kava in many forms (liquid, rough root, powders, extracts, etc etc all forms) for two decades. This version is cut garbage. Any effect you think you feel is 70% placebo. I've gotten other products from this brand I'm satisfied with but this one is trash. A simple crunch on the capsule will tell you that. Good kava (even extracts) should have a string peppery flavor and make you very numb. This one tastes like chalk with the most miniscule numbness. If you don't believe me, test it yourself. DO NOT PURCHASE. TRUST ME. IT'S NO GOOD.

I love this Kava Kava. I am 67 and have struggled with mild depression and sleeplessness for years. I was prescribed some medication but only used it for 2 days. It had undesirable side effects. I lived in Hawaii for a while years ago and remembered The Kava Kava bars there. I looked up the effects of Kava Kava and decided to give it a try. I ordered this particular one because of the reviews. From the very first night, I slept well and awoke in the morning with an enlightened frame of mind. I even told my doctor about this and he said he was going to look into it to prescribe for others who had an aversion to pharmaceutical medications. I will never be without this again. thank you for making such an amazing, effective supplement.

I did not do my research on this product before I ordered it from this company. The ad looks so good and sounded almost like a Wonder product. They should have included warning that it could be bad for you in several ways and could cause liver damage, liver failure and possibly death. I read several articles from different places and they all said the same thing about kava. I literally threw the whole bottle in the trash when it arrived. Not for me. Not worth the risk. Please read up on it before you purchase.

I have taken Kava Kava to reduce my stress levels for a long time. It just helps! This super groovy, extract has me feeling out of sight and real hip, like the hippies of the old days now I want to turn on some psychedelic music and dance around my living room because everything is just so wonderful. Highly recommend it!
