Comparison of Skins, Zoot, CW-X, 2XU, & Orca Recovery Tights
I recently did a comparison of recovery type tights. I believe that a big part of it is how the tights fit you, and everyone fits differently, but here are my thoughts.Skins Men’s RY400 – My winner. They provide great compression – snug, but not uncomfortable. They fit very well and are very comfortable, the best of all I’ve tried. I like that they are thin so if I wear them under my pants, I won’t sweat too much. So, thin + good compression + good comfort = my favorite compression tights.CW-X Men’s Perform X Tights – My runner up favorite. They provide good compression and the compression seems to be in the right spots. They fit nicely, though they are a little thick, I would be very happy with this one.Zoot Sports Men’s Ultra 2.0 CRX Tights – I really liked these, they have the best compression and the compression seems to be the best targeted as well – tight where you need it and not tight where you don’t (knees). Having said that, they are not the most comfortable to wear walking around under your pants and they are very very thick, almost like medical type tights. I think this would be a big problem in summer. So if the thickness doesn’t bother you and you don’t really plan to use them under any pants to walk around, I think they are really great for sitting around the house for recovery.2XU Men’s Compression Tights – ok, but a little hard to pull over my feet because of the small foot opening. Nothing spectacular on the compression, but seemed to fit ok and although not my favorite, I believe they would work.Orca Men’s Killa Kompression Tights – I really wanted to like these, because my tri suit is Orca, but they just were not so comfortable, not so great with compression, and really really hard to get on my legs because the foot opening is so small.

I liked the length and fit of the MT's better
Purchased for cool/cold weather, high-mileage running, and for recovery. Haven't run in them yet but have worn a couple times after long (20+ mile) runs.I'm 6'1", 162lbs, 32" waist, 33" inseam, 21" quads.Per 2XU sizing chart, I'm on a double boundary: small/medium and regular/tall. I ordered a pair of MT's and a pair of M's. I liked the length and fit of the MT's better, but they were binding or pinching behind my knees while walking/running. I sent them back and kept the M's. Only concern with the M's is that they don't snug-up as well in the crotch so may need to wear something underneath to prevent chafing while running. Probably should have tried ST's too.Comparing the MT and M for differences, the only thing I could see was the length of the legs. Waist height was same on both.I do like the compression. Again, wish I'd tried the ST's to compare.I have a pair of the 2XU shorts and really don't want to run in anything else now. Very comfortable, no chafing. The seams down the front were a concern for chafing sensitive parts but no issues so far. I'm hoping the same for the tights.

A Very Good Product!
I would have never thought that as a guy,I would be wearing tights for my leg related workouts. Further, I never new how beneficial these are to your leg circulatory system AND to your ability to increase endurance during "leg" intensive exercises and recovery from exercise.. These are just amazing! You will notice the difference on your first leg intensive work out,Some possible "suggested" improvements could include:1) Make a more "supportive" pocket for the "fellas" in the crotch area. No need to compress these guys, right? If this is done some of us may have to wear shorts to cover "that" specific area from prying eyes and prudes but he comfort level would be several magnitudes better for these tights! AND, our voice wouldn't become "high pitched" when doing "squat" exercises from the "compression" of the fellas. I'm just say'n..............2) Add about 1.5 to 2 inches to the waist height height of the product to keep the tops from "rolling over" during intense leg exercises. That's it! Very good product otherwise!

They hug your body in all the right places
I went to dick's sporting goods to try on a few brands. After trying under amour, reebok, and Nike. I decided to buy some Nike pro combat compression tights. I thought these were very comfortable and provided what I'd get out of any brand... Well after getting curious and ordering a pair of 2xu's I found out just how wrong I was. First off the draw string... Every compression tight should have these!! I have big thighs and it always causes a looseness in the waiste. These tights fit so well!!!! They feel like a much better compression and the hug my 'important' area very well. All the brands I tried did not do this. Because of my thighs they were always loose there. I'm 6ft2 and weigh 225lbs. I ordered the medium long and they are perfect. Not very hard to put on. Just amazing flexibility and overall compression. My feet are usually cold, but when I wear these they stay warm. Maybe the improved circulation? Anyway, you will not be sorry if you buy these and right now they are cheaper than Nike's at Dicks.

low rider
the sizing chart was spot on for my fit. I am 6'5'' with 35'' waist and 34'' inseam. The MT was a great fit and length was not the issue that I usually have to deal with. The gradient compression is awesome on these tights. Calves, quads and hams all sing praises. Glutes are lacking but that's expected. They ride a bit low on the waist which is great but tend to slide down your a$$ whether wearing on a run or just around the house. The drawstring is pretty thin so it 'cuts' a bit when tightening them. I haven't yet washed them but will follow all compression gear recommendations of hand washing and hang drying. The logos seem to be heat melded to the fabric so washing inside out will probably protect those longer.

They don't seem genuine as they keep falling down and the blue stripe leaks through on the reverse side

Great Quality!
I've been wanting to buy these for ages! Bit the bullet and they arrived quickly. Open the posh box and you can see where all your hard earned cash has gone - they look superb quality! They feel very comfy too, in fact better then I'd thought they'd be. I purchased Large only because of other buyers comments, the guide would suggest medium for me as I'm 5' 9" ft size 30/32 waist UK and about 30' leg length. But large is perfect. If anything they wouldn't want to be any shorter in length. Waist wise they are very comfy as they are not tight at all, they start very tight on the calves then progressively get loser up to the waist (As you'd expect). Something that has surprised me is they don't seem to keep my legs any warmer? - not as warm as 'normal' tights, they feel cold?! so id imagine you could comfortably wear them in the summer without over heating? They are described as a base layer so maybe that's why? (They don't look like a base layer). I have purchased cheap ones (More then half the price) on Amazon. The cheaper ones are no way as comfy and they seemed to fall down even though they were tighter on the waist?! 2XU look cool too!

Good for recovery
Really nice fit, you immediately feel the difference between this compression base layer and a normal one. I bought the top and bottoms together but for cycling so can't really comment on the top as my legs are doing all the work however I am very pleased with both. The compression really does help on recovery although I have not noticed any difference during my rides. There are plenty of good reviews on wiggle with more technical detail but if you simply want a good base layer that is technical and can be used to help recovery then this is the one for you.
