Fixed all my problems I have it after a full aqua sana filter system easy to install as well ...it is heavy need help to mive it.....a word of advice .....before hooking it to your house flush it first on the ground it will look like milk that's normal ...it will clear up if u send that in your house you have a risk of pushing media into your system like one idiot on here did.... That's your fault not the systems fault...

Good product
This Neutralizer showed up at my door on time nice and early in the day. Three boxes well packed and not a scratch on them. I installed it in a few hours before my Aquasana filters. It does the job as expected but might need to add some coresex to drive the PH a little higher. started with 5.5 and now 6.6 - 6.7 PH above the EPA recommendation. Very happy with the purchase.

By far one of the best companies I’ve dealt with
By far one of the best companies I’ve dealt with. Bought the Acid Neutralizer for my Well Water. Went from mid 5’s to almost 7. Install was very strait forward. Although I will add the wording on the inlet and outlet won’t be easily understood by the average Joe. However given the arrows on the bypass valves, one really can’t screw it up.Took less than an hour to install, few things I want to share; The inlet and outlet are 1” Male IPS plastic threads. It’s the rigid type of plastic, not flimsy at all. All of the connections on the top of the tank are connected with o-rings and holding nuts, nothing to have to crank down on.Judging by the stock photo on here, you couldn’t really see the bypass valves. I was very surprised to see them when I got it.Tank looks to be very solid, nothing cheap about it. I personally like the connections with O-rings.Tank does come with calcite already added and one bag of calcite for you to add once installed. I think they do that to install it easier. I wound up burying half my tank because I had a low crawlspace.I had sent in a question and to my surprise got a phone call from the company the next day. Spoke to Torrey who was extremely helpful with my questions. Very professional and spoke ENGLISH!I highly recommend this if you in the market to increase your PH values. I have attached some photos of my setup in hopes it would help the next guy out.

This Thing is Huge!
I bought this neutralizer system for my 2,000 square foot home with 3 bathrooms, 2 adults, and 1 child. We have a well that was installed 5 years ago without any filtration system whatsoever, and as you can imagine that has done significant damage to the plumbing and fixtures. In addition to a lot of sediment the PH level of our water was 6 before installing this system. I recommend installing a Rusco spin-down filter and some other type of carbon filter before the neutralizer, personally I have a 3M one that did well over the past year of use.I just installed this 5 days ago, so I cannot speak to the longevity of the system, but as of this moment it appears to be both high quality and effective. It arrived in 3 boxes, one containing the other half of calcite, one with the plumbing adapters and calcite funnel, and then the giant box containing the tank itself. The tank comes half filled with Calcite, probably so they can ship the thing because if it was fully loaded it would be very very heavy and hard to move. I needed a hand dolly to move the tank into the house, even with it only half filled with calcite. The plumbing fittings are nice, in many places they do not require teflon tape because they have o-rings, which also makes them feel a little loose but thats just how they are. The bypass valve is a nice feature, just make sure they are open when you are installing the pipes to reduce pressure build up in the tank.Overall for the price this system is well built and it seems to be doing its job. I installed a drainage valve BEFORE the tank so I could manually backwash the system myself. The tank I received does not have a screw cap to add new media, so to add more calcite I have to disconnect the plumbing fixtures on the top of the tank, which are hand tight and doesnt even require a tool, but nonetheless something to be aware of when you install it. I also move the tank out a little when I add the new media and then slide it back into place before re-connecting.

Company was very supportive with a transportation issue.
I had a shipping issue where the shipper had dropped the cylinder multiple times and crack the fiberglass. I would recommend shipping the tank without the calcite in it to reduce the weight. Oceanic Water Systems sent a new tank to replace it with instruction on how to change the diffuser and how to move the gravel and calcite to the new tank. It was easy. The tank was very easy to install. My pH was 5.0-6.0 and now it is 7.0-7.1. Works very well so far. Would recommend putting a inline filter before the cylinder to keep sediment from going into the tank. The system does not backwash so a filter would stop sediment from building up in the bottom of the cylinder.I give Oceanic Water Systems an excellent rating. Their customer service was excellent.

Poor instructions, came pre-filled but clogged up my water lines
Appliance works but instructions are basically the same booklet for multiple devices and you are pretty much on your own reading them. You would think that for a $800 device they would spend an hour writing proper instructions. The Ph neutralizer came pre-filled 1/2 of the way plus a bag of calcite. Instructions are unclear as to how much of the bag to use so I used most of it. Ran the water on the nearest faucet, everything was in order and then I opened a few other faucets - which instantly got clogged with calcite to the point where I had to cut copper pipe, change shut-off valves and faucets and now I am in the process of repairing toilet tank fill valves etc.- because they all got clogged.

Works as expected
Unit arrived barely still in what was left of the box. Unit. Very heavy and could have been packaged better. Took one star for package it or would have given 5 stars tank is well made and came with everything needed. Suggest marking the tank before adding the calcite so you can tell when it is getting close to needing to be refilled

Just what we needed
The media could not be loaded. Very easy install! Accomplished exactly what we needed. PH went from 5.5 to 7.7 instantly. Water stayed merky for a while even after running water to outside spicket for 15 min. Very pleased.
