Very puzzled by this compact coconut shredded husk. I wanted to ammendment my clay dirt. Just add water and the expansion to work into my soil was amazing. Helped add air, drainage, and made watering a breeze. Definitely on my list for Fall gardens. Eager to get beds set for early Spring planting. What value can you assign to making clay into a planting medium.

Great product but didnt recieve all of them

I bought this Grow Organics coco coir because: 1: I read that it is the best way to stratify and sprout seeds. 2: The good reviews for this product. It's true! I have been stratifying tree seeds in this coco coir. I checked them last night and they are all sprouting in the fridge! I have so many sprouts that I will have to give some to friends. The reviews were correct. Grow Organics coco coir pith is consistent in the rate of absorption/expansion throughout the brick when soaked. This is not always the case. Also, it is super clean. I have used many brands of coco coir and this one isn't full of some of the junk you find in some other brands. Overall a very good product. I will keep using it.

Good stuff...not the absolute best I've ever used but very good stuff nonetheless

Have been using this or other brands on amazon COCO Coir in our Natures Head Composting toilet.. We fulltime in RV since 2019 and have been using the composting toilet the whole time. I have found about 2 lbs of dry coco coir in a dish bin with a couple dashes of water from sink sprayer works the best.. It keeps smells down and keeps material on the dry side so when you need to change it out you can just put trash bag over the opening and turn it over with all the material falling right out.. We used to put 4 cup of water but that created a somewhat wetter material which is not good.. keep it just a bit moist to the touch but dry and easy to handle. Also fill to below the Turner bar like an inch. hope this helps..
