These noodles are amazing. I make homemade shrimp and pork dumplings and simmer them with the broth, add the noodles and voila a very yummy meal.

There's no way to tell from the Amazon website, but these are made with chicken and beef broth. My whole family is vegetarian. Not returnable, of courseHowever they are quite inexpensive, about.a dollar each. You can throw away the flavor packet and get a nice noodle soup base for your own flavorings. Also, you can drain the noodles and add pasta sauce, or butter/salt/pepper, or any other way you like to eat pasta, and they're delicious.

I’m famous for mixing and matching and adding things to my Ramen but Sapporo Ichiban and I go way back to when I just added fresh ginger to my Ramen, a good 40 years ago. This is the best. The original. The one and only. A good solid plain Ramen with a serious flavor of its own. You simply cannot beat that!👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑

Is the ramen good? Yes. What is the best part of the ramen? The flavor packet. Why? They completely understood how to create a seasoning packet that would balance a ramen using this base flavor and how it interacts with what is not included. OK, hold on....Not included? Yes. Add an egg...soft boiled. Maybe add some spices or veg of choice or dare I say.....some slightly salty slow roasted pork. This base flavor pack is the key. It balances flavors and ads some some nice oil based flavors. I really like this ramen as a great way to build other flavors upon. Just try it once.

The flavor in this ramen is bold and tangy and tastes delicious. It is by far the favorite in my family. The noodles taste good and come out perfect every time. This ramen also taste delicious when you add meat and vegetables to it. Enjoy, you won't be disappointed with the quality and the flavor.

It's hard to place exactly what is different about these noodles but I believe it's general quality. I've mostly eaten Nissin and Maruchan. While the flavor and texture are very similar to the "oriental" flavor Maruchan noodles, these have subtle spice and texture differences. I'd choose these over standard grocery store noodles but if the price increases, I wouldn't upgrade. However, the "Chow Mein" Sapporo noodles are absolutely killer and worth it.
