Defender Case for iPhone 12 / iPhone 12 Pro, Shockproof, Drop Proof, Ultra-Rugged, Protective Case, 4x Tested to Military Standard, Black, No Retail Packaging

After having several Defender Otter Boxes and being very impressed and confident the protection to my phone would be maximise, it saddens me to say I'm not so sure about this new Defender Otter Box. Compared to my iPhone XS defender box this new one for my iPhone 12pro is disappointing The outer rubber is hard not feeling like it could protect if my phone was dropped, the up lift to the front which protect the screen isn't very big (much smaller than the old box). Otter box has always been great quality and protection in the past, and when my phones were removed they were pristine and in one piece, I'm not as confident in this box sadly what a shame. All in all I think the quality has fallen and although I am happy to pay a high price for good protection, I think the price for this case is to high. I think other cases could provide as much if not more protection for nearly half the money. It looks like I'm having to eat my words, after dropping my phone for the height of a first floor window onto a patio I thought it was game over but... it survived undamaged so it looks as if otterbox has lived up to its reputaion

Customers should know that the otter case makes the phone quite bulky but should also know that it is long lasting and provides the the phone with fantastic protection, this the second case I’ve bought and with working in construction it is very durable

Fantastic case. It came packaged well, even though not in the original box this was not an issue as the actual product itself was safely put inside an amazon box and secured that way. The case is very well constructed, and for the price point is a no brainer when it comes to protecting your device. The case also has a removable screen protector/clip/phone stand, so it can be utilised together for a more bulky robust approach, or you can remove it and it becomes a slim phone case that is not much larger than any other less protective case out there. The only downside is the fact you cannot use a screen protector with it. I had a screen protector on my phone and unfortunately this case pushed it off. Keep this in mind if this is an important factor for you.

Fantastic case. I was a bit dubious after seeing posts about it pushing up screen protectors however we have them fitted at apple using their machines and as you can see from the pictures it’s nowhere near the screen protector. It’s a great case so versatile my husband is very happy with his rugged case to help protect his new phone. It’s very sturdy design is easy to fit we followed a YouTube video as the no store packaging doesn’t include instructions but a video was easy to find. Love the no store packaging when buying from Amazon like this. Just a well designed great fitting case. Thank you otterbox!

wont put another case / cover on my phone apart from an otter box. my one issue is that i found out it takes 22 otters to make. I'm pretty sure a beaver could do the job with half the labour, but I'm not sure the build quality would be as good. Those Otter's do a good job as the case is very strong but it must be if they are also doing otter stuff. And i like the fact you can put a screen protector on this model, so there paws cant damage the screen!!! have bought loads of this model, its the best. If you work in a high paced dangerous job that could damage you phone, just like Mavis who sits on the till in your local supermarket, this case is for you!!!

Compared to my previous incarnation of the Defender, which I had for my iPhone 8, this version for the 12 feels a little less robust. The case is less chunky now, great for a slimmer phone, however it doesn’t feel as indestructible as before. I admit to being a little disappointed as there was no plastic screen protector either, meaning my phone screen already has a little scratch from being in my rucksack. If I don’t compare this case to the previous, then it is a decent case. Yes, there is a little bubbling on the edge of my tempered glass screen protector but that I feel is due to the phone’s protector being a bit wonky rather than the case! The case fits the phone well and offeres adequate protection - especially around the camera lens on the back. To summarise: A good case that protects the phone well, although it is expensive when one considers it is not up to Otterbox’s previous high standards.

The children are with my phone dropping it. And sometimes it falls out of my pockets. The otter box saved my screen multiple times and underneath it is perfect. Looks like a new phone. Otter box also remains its quality. Looks like it’s never had so many hits. Highly recommend over those tin or flip screen covers. Would be nice if otterbox found a way so could have a pocket for debit card

questa è la seconda custodia che acquisto di questa marca, si tratta di un prodotto ottimo e robusto che protegge il telefono, mi è caduto più volte ma l'ha sempre protetto. consiglio di acquistare anche il vetro protettivo per avere la massima sicurezza. unica pecca è il volume della custodia e il peso ma in fin dei conti preferisco avere un oggetto più ingombrante, ma che fa degnamente il lavoro per il quele è progettato. Aunque con éste último modelo echo de menos el protector de pantalla, la funda sigue dando la protección que busco para mi día a día. No es bonita, pero es robusta, dura y fiable. Llevo usando la Otterbox defender desde el iphone 6 y no tengo queja, nunca la he tenido. La funda se compone de tres partes diferenciadas. una carcasa interior de plástico duro con protecciones interiores que acomodan al teléfono, evitando arañazos y añadiendo una especie de exoesqueleto. Y una funda adicional de goma que recubre esta primera funda rígida. La funda exterior es la que absorbe los golpes más duros, protegiendo tanto lentes de la cámara como la pantalla. El acceso y tacto de los botones es bastante bueno, aunque para el interruptor de silencio y para la toma de carga haya que levantar una pestañita siguen siendo bastante accesibles. Eso sí, si tienes pensado llevar esta funda y montar el movil en un mando de drone tipo DJI, que sepas que por el ancho y grueso que le añade al dispositivo te va a ser imposible. Recomiendo la funda sin duda.
