Great! They do extend the length of the cheese without mold! I use them 2 times for same type of cheese before I trash. This is the 2nd time purchasing these items.

These are great bags but the reason for 4 stars is that they are only reusable if you put the exact same type cheese in the same bag when you get new cheese. In other words you can not put Edam cheese in the bag after finished then put you put Havarty cheese in it. It does keep cheese well

Living alone and being a cheese lover, I always have left over portions to save in the refrigerator. I don't know what it is about these bags, but they really do preserve cheese much better than ziploc bags, plastic tubs, cling wrap, wax paper, or anything else I've tried. With just a few loose folds of the bag, the shelf lives of opened bries, camemberts, blues, jacks, cheddars, gruyeres, and everything else are extended from days to weeks. The bags seem expensive, but they are worth it for me. It's rare for me now to throw out spoiled cheese.

So far they seem to work better than anything else I have tried. Havent seen any mold yet.

Best way to store our cheeses! Lasts longer than storing cheese in a zip loc bag. These also hold up very well.

I use these bags for our staple cheddar. If you carefully fold the bags, they can easily last for 4 - 6 weeks. The cheese doesn't sweat and stays fresh. There's just the 2 of us but we are cheese lovers so the bag is open daily. One set will easily last a year. Worth it!
