First you should know: there are NO PAPER MANUALS. Everything is in online documents and pdfs. its all pretty easy to follow and reference once you can find all of the pdfs you need. The wiring diagrams are very self explanatory, and easy to follow. The software manual is also easy to follow, but you will need to google around some to find one of the passwords, or ask the support team. But you’ve got to navigate around a few web pages to gather all the available pdfs to get everything together.The technical support was incredibly helpful! They were able to provide me with all of the resources I need, and were very quick to do so. They provided pdfs, links, tips and videos within a few hours of me reaching out. I even had a super obscure and specific question (the support rep who responded said I was the first person to ask for this in many many years) but was able to provide everything I was looking for.Last heads up- you will need to get extra cable to run from the controller to each of your doors. Not for the faint of heart, and it’s no smart lock that you can easily swap out in 10 minutes. You’ll need to dedicate some time and a no kidding afternoon or two to get everything set up and working. But it is absolutely worth it, and the support team is there the whole way.

I've had to email for different questions, I get instant replies, get this on weekends;-very technical help, very thorough;-I ran into troubles understand permissions, lock install, and lots of other questions I've had;-A nice to have: An unrelated question about how to integrate relays (not supported, but they did anyway);-this is a top notch group, very willing to help, with every single email it says 'we support you forever' (not something I'm all that familiar with, how cool is that?");-I work in IT, they always say "sorry, not us," "call such and such", or worse "it's in the manual" - these guys give you a plethora of YouTube links for every question. I was up and running inside of 45 minutes, the app took me 30 mins to figure out, but pretty straight forward once I got all his links (they've got lots and lots and lots of links).If there's a con, I'd say there isn't an install video on how to physically install the strike (they had one, but for the one exception it wasn't quite what I needed). However, I found a number of lock installer's DYI YouTube videos, so not an issue.I really like this company, they stand apart from so many.-They're a winner outfit, a winner group of people, something you're really lucky to find in today's day and age. I have bought and installed 3 of these now. It is super easy to install and to work. On my first one I needed to be walked through some of the programming. I emailed the tech support and he was very responsive. Did a remote takeover of my laptop and showed me how to do it all. I couldn't be happier. Great product and great seller.The profit margin on this is great, I charged a client $1500 to install this on an apartment building, it is tough enough to handle the public building install and cheap enough to make alot of money on. First things first. The hardware works and is easy to install - I followed the link provided with the shipment, watched the videos. I did not read the instructions closely and had to email them about stuff i should have read, answers came back the following morning as they are based in China with video links or answer(s). I did not use their locks, I purchased Assa Abloy locks that allowed me to use the existing lock holes with minimal cutting (I purchased a Dremel tool - to cut the metal doors and a set of chisels - to chisel wood door frames). I bought their exit motions sensors and watched the video and install was a snap. I did also buy some 22/2 and 22/4 and 22/6 wire (500ft spools) rather than use CAT5 and that helped keep my head clear on the wiring. I did not like the included PIN pad and reader so I purchased the sleeker RFID EM-ID reader they sell. I ended up with a bunch of parts I may throw back on ebay. What would I do next time? I would buy the parts rather than a package but for most folk what they provide will be perfect. I did notice the HID cars and KeyFobs must have a lower security as the reader did not read the newer ones from our corporate office, but it may be my lack of knowledge. End result ..savings of about 4K for a 4-door system. The Android phone apk. worked but did popup on install and say it was for an older version of Android. One missing feature for me was only one master/super users account is available best i can tell. I did have to watch the software programming video several times and did not particularly care i had to put their company name in the registration. No idea what will happen if i did not register the software, it never told me or prompted either.

Update Dec 1, 2023:Just installed 3 more of these and they work like a charm in a condo with 475 users. One unit is installed in the pool, one in the laundry room, and third one is in their bike room. Access is easily controlled through the software, installed on a laptop or PC that is on the same network as the controller units. I also use the app when I go on the property and I need access to those rooms but I don't have my fob with me. The person who complains that the system brakes or is not working must not know what they're doing because the first two systems I installed almost 3 years ago are still working solid with no issues whatsoever...Original review_________________________I have installed 2 of these and looking to do another installation soon and I can tell you that this system is pretty good. The hardware is pretty sturdy and software is pretty reliable. Phone app could be improved and remote access via web for full control of users and functionality would be nice to have, however for what you pay for it, this is a decent access control system.

Great Product, Easy to use, fast support

Ordered a 4 door system for my office. Laid them out on my table. Watched the YouTube videos and within 30 min was up and running. Downloaded the phone app and programmed my buttons on the phone. Worked flawlessly. Great value for DIY person like myself. Was so happy that I ordered 2 more 4 door systems that arrived 2 days later.Thanks again

We bought this for our coworking space and love it! Excellent price and the quality and quantity of instructional materials are outstanding AND if you have any questions the company responds so quickly and even made a video just for our question! Would recommend and are looking at buying more for other doors in our space!! Highly recommend!

I have bought 2 of these, a 1 door and a 4 door system for separate buildings. These are amazing units for the price - easily equal to that of the larger commercial systems I've replaced with them. These are also ideal for large subnet/vlan/vpn'd networks, even knowing mine are used at different locations I was able to easily make it work across the vpn to one piece of software and share the door cards.The support is amazing - Every question I have asked have been thoroughly answered with an amazing turn around time.Highly Recommend the product and the seller!

I bought this system for a small commercial building I have. I don't have any electrical experience but I was able to figure out the installation and programming of the system.While the manual and instructions are a bit difficult to follow, the tech support is really incredible. They respond to every email within a few hours and will keep answering as many questions as you have.It's now been several months and the system has been remarkably reliable. Would definitely buy this again. Saved thousands of dollars from hiring a security company to install a similar system.It would be helpful if you know an electrician to get some help with if you're not technically inclined, but the set up and wiring is much easier than I expected.
