A good alternative to traditional grill cleaning brushes
I purchased this brush a year ago and used it all last summer so I'm on to year two with it. Overall I liked this grill brush mostly for the piece of mind. I stopped using the steel wire brushes several years ago when I read an article about the possible ingestion of metal wires. I saw an ad for this brush and thought, ok you guys got me, I'll get it. It pretty much works as advertised though you do have to soak it quite often. I really liked getting the grates clean right after cooking. It definitely is a solid build quality and doesn't feel cheaply made. I'm looking forward to using it again this summer!

Easy, effective way to effortlessly clean your grill.
For over 40 years, I stuck with standard grill brushes with wire heads, and I'll admit I was hesitant to try the Grill Rescue Bristle-Free Steam Cleaning Grill Brush—mostly because of the price. Now, I only wish I had taken the leap sooner! This brush is truly a game-changer. The steam cleaning concept is ingenious and makes cleaning my BBQ grates an absolute breeze. With just a bit of water, it effortlessly tackles grease and grime, leaving my grates spotless in no time. It's so quick and effective that I actually look forward to cleaning my grill now—it’s fun!The solid handle gives me a great grip, and the durable head is built to last. It’s reassuring to know that when the time does come to replace the head, it can be done easily. The brush is safe for all types of grill grates, which is a huge plus, and the fact that it's bristle-free eliminates any worries about stray wires. If you're on the fence like I was, don’t wait any longer—this brush is worth every penny. I couldn’t recommend it more highly!

Must have for a griddle!
The Grill Rescue works like a champ! A friend turned me onto the Grill Rescue while camping and I was sold. Plus being a Fire Fighter I support and Fire service related endeavors knowing the quality of the product is 100% reliable!

I hated this product
I bought this brush to replace my traditional metal wire brush after learning that the metal can end up in food. This sounded like a great alternative!. It's really not, and to be honest I'm not sure why it has so many positive reviews. In my experience the brush is annoying to use for many reasons.First off the cleaning head is impossible to remove if you have small hands like me. In order to even take the shipping plastic off you have to remove the head at least once. You have to squeeze really hard on BOTH side tabs while pulling. It was so difficult to do that I googled how to remove it to make sure I wasn't doing it wrong. (I wasn't) It was annoying how they kept showing the video of a lady in a bikini removing the head easily. Maybe if I wore my bikini I'd have had better luck. Instead I had to have a friend help me because it was so difficult to do and I was ready to leave the shipping plastic scraps in place and just burn them off!The brush handle is big, bulky, and heavy. This makes soaking the head in water tough because if you try and put it into a cup or something tall it'll tip right over. If you try setting it inside a bowl, it'll even tip the bowl. I ended up filling a plastic bag with water and using that. What a mess. It also soaks up quite a bit of water so you need a decent sized container on the side of the grill while cleaning. The whole "soaking the cleaning head first" is also a little bit of a hassle. It's an extra step you don't need with other brushes. This leaves you with a hot, dirty, steaming rag on a stick, which will tip over it's disgusting contents once you try and put it back into your soaking container.Once it's been used, the head has to be cleaned well and also has to dry out or else it smells weird and probably grows bacteria. I returned it after 3 uses so I dont know if mold would've grown eventually or not, but I felt like it had great potential.Overall grill cleaning wasn't even that great. It doesn't scrape the food/burnt stuff off as well as a wire brush or other types do. I felt like the top part of the grill slats were clean(ish) but the sides were still dirty since the cleaning head didn't really reach between them. And the steam was actually a little dangerous if you cleaned fast because it was VERY hot and you end up passing your hand through it sometimes.I gave it a fair try but at this price it's a waste of money for something that is more inconvenient and not very effective.

Good resistant material!
I should have taken a before and after picture of the grill, but it works. It’s not a perfect cleaning but it sure looks better than before. The sponge is big enough for the grill, strong material, fire proof.

Fabric doesn't last even a year
Works well....for a short whileHad it not even a year in a northern climate so its only been used maybe 6 months and the fabric is tearing apart with several holes in it. For the price it should last at least a couple of summers. Have had cheaper products last longer
