I sometimes find it super strange that people leave negative or somewhat negative reviews on products because of smell or taste....when they are not mean to taste or smell "pretty" unless you want a ton of other stuff added to the product. This balm does it's job... and to me it was pretty clear that it would smell like honey....and it basically smells the way raw honey smells. The taste is hardly noticeable....very lightly sweet.It's a good every day lip conditioner.

Works, but smell is hard for me to get use to. Due to being natural, smell of bees wax is different, that said it works wonders though.

Takes a bit of wear to soften it up. Smells natural. Goes on lips well when softened. Stays on long and keeps lips moisturized even after you cannot feel it when you rub your lips together. Other chapsticks such as Baby Lips feel nice on your lips but pool in the creases of them and goes away easily--leaving your lips more chapped than before! This chapstick seems to blur out any creases and is neither glossy or matte. At school, I need around 1-2 reapplies (8hrs), meanwhile, Baby Lips needs a reapply after every 20 mins.

I've used burt's bees in the past, and this formula is not quite up to par with the other scents/flavors I've gotten. -1 star because I find that it diminishes off my lips soon after i apply it (unlike the original and vanilla scents that i have) this isn't a deal breaker though because other than that, it's a good product the honey scent is great, and it smells like honey (not chemicals).

This lip balm is my absolute favorite. It goes on smooth and I like the honey scent. It stays in place longer than other balms I’ve used. It keeps my lips free of dryness and chapping.

Pros: nice flavor, moisturizing, thick Cons: overly strong honey smell As a frequent user of Burt's Bees Lip products I thought I would give "Honey" a try. Like most lip balm users I am always looking for moisture, texture, and overall longevity. This product definitely met those needs and even had the added bonus of a nice naturally sweet flavor. However, the honey scent was more than I could bare and I found myself wiping off the product before long and switching to a different Burt's bees lip product. To be fair, the honey scent does not smell artificial but is still quite cloying that close to your nose. Like all of the Burt's Bees Lip line "Honey" comes well packaged in a standard tube that is perfect for your pocket or your purse. Overall: A nice product with a strong scent. If strong smells don't bother you, you cannot go wrong with this product.

Not sure why some people are saying the smell is awful, but it smells exactly like raw honey which is exactly what I needed.

The seller charged $15 for a single chap stick. On one hand, I made the mistake of thinking it was a pack of 4 for some reason which is my fault, but who charges $15 for a single chap stick? Also only the second non returnable item I've ever seen in 10 years of using Amazon. I wouldn't have reviewed if it let me return it. 5 stars worth of quality but 1 star for business practices. 3 stars.

I like the smell, and it's moisturizing enough. But it didn't help me with my scaly lips.

I wanted a natural product to use on excema on my eyelids, and this was recommended on a chat forum. I keep it in my handbag to use as a touch up during the day, and I use Burt's Bees hand salve morning and night. It's amazing! My excema almost cleared within a week of using these products.
