Best price for the same item, genuine Lippert Solidstep Storage box.
Waited for a year or so to purchase but glad I bought the better Lippert storage box than the cheaper ones. Fairly easy to install. Took about an hour including drilling the holes and installing the screws. Almost mounted the bracket too high and it took a little struggle to get the box to slip over the top of the bracket and hang on it. I also drilled a hole in the top front of the box and attach it to the existing old step bracket that was still on my 2970RL Imagine. Made it much sturdier and took any bounce out as well.

Make sure it Fits
This is a very sturdy and well-made product. It weighs around 40 pounds so be careful if you are at weight on your towing capacity. This is designed for a large I-beam for the chassis of your trailer. I have a Imagine 2600RB and the mounting bracket was too wide. I had to cut off the lower flange so it would fit. Other than that, it is very nice.

Great Storage
This was easy to install and a needed addition for storage.

Buyer Beware
Received Lippert SolidStep Storage Box in poor condition at best:- First, box was shipped without any packaging whatsoever to protect it, and with the shipping labels slapped directly on the box.- Second, contents of Box were not secure allowing for the bracket and hardware to bounce around inside the box.- Third, box appears worn or abused with scuff marks, scratches, worn parts, and rust... clearly abused prior to shipping and exposed to the elements.Overall, I'm pretty disappointed with this seller's handling of the order. The only positive... considering the abuse this box went through, it appears structurally sound and without a noticable dent. Great job Lippert. Unfortunately, Advanced Cycle Parts failed you and me in flaming fashion.Returning this roughly used and abused product to seller asap for full refund and finding a different seller. See pics for findings.

No idea so go find the instructions not includeed
The boxes appear to be durable and built very well. The packaging, for what these cost should have been a whole lot better. I did have to go find what little bit of help the website has for mounting these boxes. I ordered 2 boxes and I'm glad I did. I'm also glad that I started with the back steps or the toybox part of my fifth wheel. I have a 10" I beam and thought that would make the install "better". Well just in case it helps someone else, if you have flush trims that make the entire side of the trailer walls flush like I do, you'll need to shim the mount down about an inch or so. You really won't know until you've completely mounted and try to close the door. Mine wouldn't following the very brief instruction of 'center the mount' and 'push up as high as it will allow' in the I beam. So now I had to take completely apart, which pretty much ruins the screws, and drop it a 1x4 thickness, or 3/4" equal on both ends and remount. Had to pre drill the holes just to get a couple of 8 included self tappers to hold. **See pictures** hope that helps someone. And the second one or front box was even a bigger pain in the neck. I set both on the bottom of the I beam and that’s easier but as lid leaves a gap. That I will make a peice of trim for.Great tool box and design but poor instructions and no guidance in the terribly torn up shipping box. Good thing that I had tools and knowledge to figure out on my own!

For trailers
This was my husband’s order! He certainly was happy when it arrived and was up early the next morning and had it installed in a matter of minutes.I’d say it rates 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Does NOT fit all...
Removed the pullout steps and put in the Lippert SolidStep on our 23RSS, no problem. To mount this box, needed to move the brackets that held the pullout steps, as the box is wider... ok, minor problem, done. Only to find out that the box hangs too low if mounted properly, below the axle height. Fine (too late to return), I'm just going to mount it on the back bumper.
