Used with Ooma /Grandstream IP phone
Worked great with Ooma 2602 (made by grandstream ) NOTE you will also need Plantronics 85638-01 for this to pick up and end calls (no lifter required)

Works with Fanvil X3U
Wanted to report that this EHS adaptor also works properly for connecting the CS540 to a Fanvil X3U (and presumably the higher X series units as well)

Just what I needed.
This is a harder part to understand than one might think. Plug it in, set the phone, and boom it works If you do not make the changes on the phone it will not work right. Outside of that it works great.

Does not Work!
This product does not work as advertised. You have to push a button on the phone 100% of the time to be able to answer a call or hange up a call. What is the point you might as well be corded to the phone.

Make Sure EHS Mode is Enabled on Your Phone!
Works great once I realized the phone has to have EHS Enabled. As soon as I did that, it works great. This is being used on an ESI phone system.

READ FIRST!!!!
READ FIRST!!!!I have a Grandstream GXP2140 phone. This cable alone will not give you the full EHS functionality of being able remotely answer/hang up the phone from your headset. You will need to also purchase the Plantronics 85638-01 cable. Plantronics 85638-01 SPARE CABLE ASSY MODULAR STRAIGHT Makes no sense, but it is required. I had to do some digging around and finally found the compaitiblity guide on the Grandstream website.http://www.grandstream.com/sites/default/files/Resources/gxp2130_2140_2160_headset_compatibility.pdfIf you do try to use the headset with only this cable, you will notice that it only works in one direction...you can click the headset button on the phone and it will activate your plantronics headset. The other direction does not function.

Gequido / Fanvil Telefon perfekt
Funtioniert perfekt mit Rufannnahme Auflegen und auch am Headset klingeln perfekt am Gequdio und baugleichem Fanvil Telefon. Adios Hörerlifter.Achtung es muss im Telefon oder am PC in den Telefoneinstellungen EHS aktiviert weden, sonst tut sich nichts !!
