First time using it I ended up at the ER. Never in my life have I been cut by a mandoline, until this crap. Decided to try it again the other day and realized that it was adjusting as I was slicing. Start slicing a potato paper thin and by the forth swipe it’s on the thickest setting. Waste of money!

The gloves do a good job of protecting your hands.

Absolutely frustrating to try and put back together after cleaning. Does NOT do well with sliced potatoes. So so sorry I bought this. Hate to throw out because of the cost. Every 6 months or so, I get it out and try to put it together again to try and use. Terrible cycle. I'm going to have to bite the bullet and just throw it out. I have a cheaper one I've been using the last 3 years since I bought it. It works GREAT!

Didn’t receive the cut resistant gloves which is fine. It’s just a basic mandolin. Nothing extraordinary about it.
