Works great for cutting straight lines

Easily the nicest brush I've used. I'll admit most of my brushes have been lower end but I needed a good cut in brush for my current painting project. This one did very well. Do I believe it will works for years to come? Nope, but it wasn't that expensive either. I can see a bit of bristle wear from a couple of washings but still does a great cut in job. Couple probably cut in a whole, large house before needing disposed of - and at under $15, that's a bargain.

Great "Cut In" brush. Works like a charm creating clean lines. Used it to do all edges in a small house. Bought a second one.

I usually don’t leave reviews but I’m so happy with this brush I just had to! I’m not a pro painter by any stretch but you wouldn’t know it by looking at the results I’m able to achieve with this brush. I’ve amassed quite the brush collection recently trying to find the right one for me and this is hands down THE one. I usually suffer through cutting in ceilings but I’ve been using SW Emerald and after getting used to this brush and that paint it’s become almost effortless the way the paint just glides on exactly where I want it. It holds a good amount of paint, spreads it like butter, and offers super precise control with razor sharp lines. As with all my Wooster equipment I couldn’t be happier. I’m almost tempted to buy a couple more of these in case they stop making them lol. Great product

Its nylon and polyester bristles are strong and durable enough to stand up to regular wear and tear, and it can create precise lines, and for cutting in around trim and molding.

This is a really good brush. If you know how to stroke a brush while painting, the firmness of the bristles lets you cut in a longer area thus saving time and money. The bristles are not floppy.

Good brush. Wooster makes great products. I am a painter. This brush is firm bristled and is great for cutting in against the ceiling. Please, Amazon... What the heck is "sheerness", and how would it apply to a paint brush?

This is not extra firm this is to soft.

This isn't the exact brush shown in the photo. It's a decent brush but I really wanted the one shown in the photo as it is excellent. This is a bait and switch. But after inspecting it out really is ok, I would buy another
