Great in teles and strats
I have a beautiful ‘52 thinline tele that’s always been crackly at the jack, it’s driven me mad for years. This is the first ‘mod’ I’ve ever done, and was a simple solder job that solved the issue. Bought 2 more for my strats, which also sound nice and clean, even with a bit of wiggle.

Great socket
This instantly fixed my noisey old guitar socket-it holds the plug properly. The only issue I had was that this socket was slightly longer than the old one, so I had to rotate this new one to the right angle to make it fit in the available space inside the guitar.
