Extremely dodgy DO NOT USE. The adaptor I received did not interact with my phone at all when plugged in to a tv and charger, by this I mean it did not start charging my phone or cause any notifications about the adaptor being plugged in to show up, however a screen does show up on my tv when it is plugged into the adaptor and the charger, this screen is a very not apple like looking screen with a QR code on it that I have found out via youtube will take you to a streaming service called ezcast and the first thing I read about ezcast when I looked into how safe they were was that it isnt safe and allows hackers to run malware on your home network, so please steer clear of this dodgy piece of crap, could do cause you any number of problems if you fall for it.The picture is of the screen that is displayed by the adaptor even when the adaptor is unplugged as you can see.(the burger is in the photo to cover the QR code)The description:【Plug and Play】 Easy to use, fast and stable connection, automatic mirroring. Actually thought this product didn’t work at first; why would a hdmi converter need its own power source to work at all but non the less got it working.Plugged it in a met you by that; then asks for your permission to access all files and data while using remotely. Why they needing thatThen you’ll notice all reviews previously are for a projector. Not what your sellingWish I’d looked even a bit before biting

It 100% doe NOT work. Do anything else with your money except waste it on this. It’s a scam

Device Does work with iPhone and ipad. Power has to be supplied into the adapter.
This is an updated review for the HDMI adapter compatible with iPhone. The lightening Digital AV Adapter does work. Tried it on a different TV with multiple HDMI ports. You need to plug in power supply into the adapter and then plug HDMI into the HDMI port in the TV. It works. It only displays small size screen on the TV when plugged into the iPhone and slightly larger screen on TV when plugged into an iPad. So you don’t get the full screen on your TV. I will increase the stars but still not completely satisfied because it does not display the full screen and quality of video mirrored to the TV is only reasonable.

Good picture quality
Excellent picture quality, unfortunately it has stopped working after 5-6 weeks and only having been used 3-4 times, hopefully can be sent a replacement
