Well made
I love these packs but they are super pricey for what they are…they work well for using overnight as I sleep. I put a shirt on top and then wrap with another dry castor oil pack to prevent it from getting on my bed. It says you can wash them but I have never tried. I don’t think it’s worth the hassle or getting oil out and also the oil could contain toxins so if it is not fully clean, you don’t want to re-apply it to your skin and re-absorb it. That would defeat the purpose of the castor oil pack. I keep using them because I can’t find a better option, but I wish they didn’t charge so much.

Definitely AUNTIE recommended!!
This castor oil pack is so SO good! If you never heard of using a castor oil pack... please do your research. This has helped many people, including myself. All you do, is pour the oil onto this pack.. tie the pack on, and let it do its magic. Holistically it's the most amazing, so comfortable, and super easy to use. Comes in the cutest package and very discreet. You're auntie here highly recommends this for cramps, and or any abdominal cramps.

Works well
I have attempted a wool flannel castor oil pack diy style in the past the way they used to do them, following this video that was made in the 80s. It was so incredibly messy I had to throw my clothes away and sleep with towels, etc. This pack is so much better. I think the company is very up front with their claims being truthful and accurate. It is still possible to make a mess. But if you follow their directions it isnt too likely. I've been using this for a month. I put about a tablespoon on the inside, avoid seams, and then I kind of fold it for a second so the pool of oil is pressed into the fabric and not just sitting on the surface. This is important. If you dont do this you are likely to have oil slip down your body. Then I put it on my right/center, under my breast and I tie the strings in the back. The strings are very light and they have never bothered me. I am over 250lbs and the strings have plenty of give to tie and still are dangling down after tying. Then I pull my old t shirt back down and I go to bed. I move in bed from my back to my side and I haven't had a leak yet. I used the heritage store castor oil because that's made the way Edgar Cayce suggested. I plan to get a new one in another month, though I might try washing this one first to see if I can make it last longer.

High quality but a bit expensive
I loved having this pack, I used it for my liver as well as just over the whole belly. Very convenient and easy to use, very soft, very sturdy. I use castor oil packs a lot, so ease of use is important. My only issue is the cost, I just don't want to spend that much on a flannel pack. I am fine just using a regular flannel and tying it to my belly myself. No need to pay so much more only to have the strings attached. But for people who are new to castor oil packs this might be a great way to start and get comfortable with the method. If money was not a factor I would buy it again any time.

Design flaws overshadow convenience
This item seems very convenient at first but there are a nber of design flaws that make it messier than necessary within less than a week of nightly use. There is a big fabric tag sewn to the front of the PUL (the waterproof side) fabric. The stitches eventually leach oil into the tag and then you have a great messy oily tag about 2x2 inches on the outside of you where you shouldn't. The straps are nice at first but they also leach oil into the length of them as they are stitched into the flannel part where you apply the oil. Uh? Did they even think any of this out? They're also in the center of the pack only and so as the pack gets more saturated with oil the top 2 or 3 inches wants to flop downward unless you have a..ahem, low slung breast able to pin it against you. It would be better to have 3 straps top, middle and bottom to help keep the edges from shifting up/down with movement for those who turn over a lot in sleep. At least the straps are long enough to allow for those with ample girth to tie it on. If you're thinner, you may be able to get them to go around twice so you can fix the drooping problem. It may not be as messy initially as a traditional castor oil pack but it really leaves much to be desired after the first week. I am thinking of just buying some extra PUL fabric to put over this to help keep it tidy since the oil begins to leak out the edges even if you apply it only to the middle. Also the instructions on the included card say reduce to 1 TBS per use after the first day of 2 TBS, but this is not mentioned on the website or anywhere else. Why the discrepancy? To cause you to buy more oil? However, design flaws aside, I really am liking some of the health benefits I am sensing after only a week of use. I will continue to do castor oil packs whether or not I use this product to do them. It is a little pricey and wasteful to be tossing this away every month IMO. I am glad I gave it a try overall though. It makes a decent starting point if you're just not sure about getting into doing the packs.

Comfortable when with with snug shorts.
Lose the strings! To tell the truth, I have not cut the strings off my nail pad. I keep thinking I might need them sometime, however, I had a pair of comfortable biking shorts, and now I wear my pad to bed with my Earthing mat beneath me and my Castor oil pad stays in place! If you have constipation, this is really a useful comforting tool in your arsenal against it. All you have to do is put some organic castor oil in the center area. It will spread out on the soft side of the pad quite beautifully you must be careful to place it over the area you wish to treat whether it’s your liver or intestines before pulling the shorts up over it if you decide to use the strings, I’m sure that they will help but I can’t imagine they will help to keep the pad in place if you move around a lot as I do in your sleep. I have tied up the strings on either side and just took them in. Be careful to use a good grade of cast royale that comes in a glass bottle, not plastic. Bottoms up!

Absolutely amazing!
I first heard of castor oil packs from my acupuncturist and did it the old fashioned way (soaking a cloth in castor oil) and easily fell off that wagon due to the messiness and how soaked my bed sheets got. I discovered this and it makes it 10000x times easier with ZERO mess! I read some reviews that it is messy, but I’m positive they were doing it incorrectly because I have not had a spill or soaked bed sheets. I’ve been using this every single night since I purchased this in April. While doing this consistently, I have noticed a difference in my digestive system, and a balance in hormones. Truly cannot live without this.
