Gerber baby-girls 4-pack Sleeper Gown

Oh how I love these little gowns. I ordered them as a gift for a friend's baby. They make changing diapers in the middle of the night easy. Just pull up the elastic opening from the bottom, change the diaper and pull the gown back down and you're done. The fabric is nice and soft, it is stretchy and comfortable for baby. The size starts out a bit large as the sleeper gown is from birth to six months. I will post an update after we have washing experience. The material is 100% cotton and just the right thickness and should keep baby warm in the winter and cool in the summer. It is washable. Because it is 100% cotton, it may shrink a bit. The colors and prints of the gowns are adorable. One other factor that I love about these gowns, they are guaranteed to be OEKO TEX Standard 100%. OEKO-TEX is a globally recognized certification system for textiles that tests for harmful substances at every stage of production. The most well-known certification is OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, which guarantees that every component of a textile product, from the fabric to the buttons and zippers, has been tested for harmful chemicals. These gowns are a great value for the price.

I love these, great for naps and bedtime. Make it super easy to change the baby at night. The material is thick enough so that it is durable but thin enough for baby girl to be cool enough with her swaddle on. They wash well. They make a bigger size than most . They are super cute , they are well made . Totally worth the money.

I absolutely love this Gerber gown set! It’s just too adorable, with beautiful colors and designs. What really stood out to me was how soft the cotton feels! It’s perfect for little ones. I’ll start by saying these are really cute I love the patterns on them and after the first time I washed them they were still good. After washing them (yes I put them in the dryer) multiple times however, they shrank more and now as soon as my little one kicks her feet the gown goes above her legs and doesn’t stay down. My daughter was born 6lbs 18.5” and these fit her perfectly but if she wasn’t a small baby they would have been too small for her. I would not say they are the normal 6lb-8lb that newborn clothes are. She’s now almost 3 weeks old, 6lbs 12oz and almost 20” long, with how small they were to begin with and since she grew an inch plus them shrinking, they no longer have the length to fit her properly. The arm length are the only thing that still fit her perfectly but since they scrunch up so much at her legs it ends up covering her as much as a long sleeve onsie. If these were made longer like the carters ones I bought they would have been perfect and still usable. Disappointed they only fit her for 3 weeks even though she’s still small. If you buy the newborn size for premie though the neck opening may be too big and the arms too long.
