A Cool Performer
The Corsair 400d is a fantastic mid-tower case that excels in one crucial area: cooling. Its thoughtfully designed airflow channels and generous ventilation ensure that your components stay cool under even the heaviest workloads. Here's why I'm impressed:Excellent Airflow:The 400d features ample front, top, and rear intake vents, allowing for optimal airflow throughout the case.Smart Cable Management:The case includes dedicated cable routing channels and tie-downs, making it easy to keep your build clean and tidy, further improving airflow.Supports High-End Components:You can easily fit high-end graphics cards, CPU coolers, and multiple drives within this case. For those bigger GPU’s simply remove the fairing from inside the case.Easy to Build In:The 400d has a spacious interior and tool-less drive bays, making the building process a breeze.Stylish Design:The case has a sleek, modern aesthetic that will look great in any setup.Overall:The Corsair 400d is a strong contender in the mid-tower market. If you prioritize excellent cooling performance and a user-friendly build experience, this case is an excellent choice.I hope this review is helpful!

Great case, just wish it came with more fans
Bought this case to build a budget PC out of older spare parts (GTX980ti, i7 7700k) and wanted a solid case with space to upgrade.Assembly: I'm no PC building pro, last time I built one was 12 years ago. The build process following a guide from Linus Tech Tips was working without a hitch regarding the case (had a problem with the Motherboard which had nothing to do with the case). It's got plenty of space for most Motherboards, my PSU installed easy and i like that i can tuck cables neatly behind the panel.Filters and Fans: Case comes with two fans; one in on the front and one out on the back. Those are preinstalled, sound quiet and work well. They do not have RGB if you care about that. For my build that is enough but there is space for two more on the front, which are shown in the marketing material but not included. I know I could have read it more closely but I just assumed I get what's in the picture. I think the filters are easy to remove and clean and i like the asthetic of the top filter a lot.Quality: I think the quality of the metal, glass and other things like the power button is all good. Nothing to complain about.

Excellent all-round
Bought this for a recent build project - it's fantastic. The top panel has lots of ventilation and room for multiple fans, as does the back. You could even put one over the PSU. And three on the front. Or mount an AIO or radiator on the side. There's PLENTY of room to do decent cable management and fit all those fan RGB cables, and an RGB controller. And multple SSDs and HDDs in the dedicated bays, which come with easy-screws.Every aspect of this case is finished to a high standard, from the machining, to the blasting and painting. Every hole is pristine, every surface is smooth. And, because you'll want to see inside, the tempered glass is very solid. Both panels pop off easily, so you don't need screwdrivers if you need to hot-swap or have a look inside, or do whatever you're doing. I may be biased, but it's also GREAT as a single-chamber. Nothing to worry about, but PLENTY of room with the access slot for PCIe/Mobo/SATA cables. It'll fit a full ATX with a chunky 7900XTX and still have room for a little bobble-head.Minor criticisms:Plastic feet and front panel trim could be a slightly higher quality or better finish, and they don't seem to match the case 100%. Might be worth removing and painting, if you're that bothered. The rear slot covers slide into a groove and are secured on one side with a screw. This can cause resonant vibration at certain frequencies. For someone like me with hyperacusis, it is HORRENDOUS. Easily solved with a tiny bit of adhesive putty.Overall:Excellent value for money, great build quality, and even looks like it might withstand some customising and machining.
