Those Who Can, Teach

Great book for college classes for people studying to become a teacher. Gotta say, books are expensive know matter where you get them, always search for the best price! Ebay or Amazon is usually less expensive than the college book stores. A good book though. My daughter just started college for her AA Transfer, working towards her Bachelors. Best to you All.

I got this for my "Intro into Education" class. This is okay as far as a textbook goes--of course, way too high priced, but that is the way with any required text. I thought the authors did a fine job of outlining all the basics of teaching, and found most of the material (especially the case studies) very interesting and thought provoking. The book touched on many topics, including possible pitfalls, legal rulings and court cases, standards, the history of education, job opportunities, professional development, the role of the teacher, educational philosophies, etc. One feature that especially interested me was the TechSource Video clips. I am interested in seeing how other educators manage their classrooms, employ certain techniques, and help their students to succeed. The book did not say how to view these clips at all (or I missed it if it did). Do I need to purchase an extra key card or something to do this? You would think that for the price it would be included! Anyway, if anyone knows where I need to go or what I need to do to watch these videos, please let me know! Thanks!

This it is very informative and well written textbook. The textbook contains good information and examples to help prepare teachers. I personally enjoyed reading this textbook. It was in a difficult read and it was easy to understand.

Wonderful book fir new teachers. This is a great textbook to introduce teaching to new education students.

Great book

I ordered this because I needed it for one of the classes I was in . This arrived on time and was covered in bubble wrap. There were no bends or rips in it so that was great ! I would say that it is way too expensive but I guess you will have that with any school book you need .
