I've tried buying different pairs of jeans from Amazon, and they all have this one big problem, nobody seems to know how to measure clothing!It seems easier to purchase clothes from supermarkets as they know how to size clothing, and in general are cheaper, but I thought I'd try to use my knowledge of the sizing issues and attempt again to save myself a journey to a supermarket I don't normally visit (Sainsbury's in this case)Just for reference, my waist is just larger than 36", it used to be just under, but lockdown impacted us all in different ways - I previously purchased Sainsbury's jeans at 38" waist just to give some "expansion" with sedentary time, and they still fit with some room around the waistOn looking at these, I thought I'd try going up a couple of sizes, buying 40" waist, 32" leg (regular), and guess what - they're INCREDIBLY tight around the waist, abdomen and butt (yes, I have a bit of a butt on me, but that's why I always buy relaxed fit), so much so that I can't even sit down comfortablySo, it looks like if you're not a stick, and you want to buy some jeans that can be delivered, then go up SEVERAL steps of sizes - it's almost as though whoever distributes these has a different tape measure that starts at -5" where we all have zero on ours 🤪The pity is that these actually look great, a little on the thin size (material thickness, not narrowness), but the sizing issues seem to be an ongoing issue with Amazon clothing purchases!

The overall fit is great - good on the waist, good length (not flapping around my calf like most on trend jeans are at present), good fit down the leg - they fit like jeans used to before the current fashion for sock length skin tight man-jeggings, but unfortunately there is no shape in the seat of the jeans... I know I have a more athletic physique, and my glutes are a little more pronounced from running, so I'm used to there being a bit of a gap at the waist band at the back, and keeping builders' bum in check, but these were so tight I could hardly bend to sit down, and wearing for more than a couple of hours gives me bad backache for a few days. I've retested it a couple of times, so I'm certain it's the jeans. A shame, as I was hoping to get another pair at this price.

The measurements were accurate, so no bother there... These jeans are really comfy and fit well over my boots, they have deep pockets and pop-buttons on the bum and johnny pockets giving an extra smidge of security for the wallet in the back-burner. I really liked them.Unfortunately, the stitching around the flies came undone within a few days. Not enough to make them un-wearable or reveal my undercrackers to the world, but enough to be really annoying and make people do a double take at your crotch. I can't send them back as I've made an alteration, so I'll try n find the time to sew them up over the weekend. It's a real disappointment that shouldn't really be happening and has ultimately knocked these jeans down to 2 stars...

I wear these jeans everywhere! They look nice, they have a great fit and most importantly for me, the leg length is lovely and long. I'm a woman, but most womens jeans are too short for me, as I'm around 5ft 11". But these jeans fit the bill perfectly. They have a nice overall flattering look. The only thing I'm not fussed on is the brass buttons. But for such a good price, I guess its a small price to pay. Would deffo recommend these jeans.

Great quality but sizes run small, I'm usually a 40ins waist so went for a 42 to be safe and it's like squeezing onto a 38ins waist. Not for Chonky legged peeps either, but I will keep them and slim Into them. They are my target jeans now.. But yes possibly a waste of money.

Difficult to find Jean's that arnt skin tight! These are nice and baggie on the legs, good quality Demum, comfortable, definatly value for money would recommend.

Shame there no in between sizes as first order was to small and the pair I kept are a little to big, but hey ho what can you do. I'm happy with the purchase as I absolutely hate the modern day skinny (crap) jeans that are everywhere today. Nice to have jeans I can move in. Would purchase again.
