I'm a beginner and this midi keyboard crossed my expectations. For this price it's worth. It's easy to use and you will enjoy using it.

Pulled the trigger last month after my 49-key stayed at a mate’s place for the third weekend in a row. Been living with the MK3 in my rucksack ever since and, honestly, it’s staying there. Keys New Gen-2 bed feels miles better than the old MK2 I borrowed last year. Still mini, but the travel is deeper and the clack is gone—quiet enough to noodle in the library without the death-stare squad arriving. Velocity is smooth once you flatten the curve in your DAW; factory setting’s a bit jumpy for my lazy fingers . Pads Eight MPC pads are the real heroes—firm, no false triggers, and the after-touch actually speaks to Ableton’s sampler. Finger-rolls on drum breaks feel like the real thing; I’ve ditched dragging loops entirely . Knobs & screen Endless rotaries map to filter cutoff in two seconds and the tiny OLED shows the CC number so I’m not guessing. Yes, it’s pixel-1995 monochrome, but it beats the blind-twiddle I had before . Toy-factor? Whole thing weighs less than my iPad charger; USB cable powers it straight off the laptop—no dongle life. Survived a drop from hostel-bunk height: corner scuff, nothing bent. Niggles (why not 6 stars?) Product arrived defective. The touch pads are not sensitive and really bad responsiveness. Return has been initiated for two weeks now and pick up hasn't been scheduled. Neither havre I received any refund. I would recommend a local store, you can call and return in case of defects.

I was really surprised at the quality of this MIDI controller for the price. It seems well made and has a ton of functions but all useful ones that efficiently use the space. USB-C connectivity is also a huge plus as not many other MIDI controllers have adopted that standard yet. It also comes with an excellent bundle of software that includes everything you'll need to start making music. All around an excellent purchase I would highly recomend

購入から一ヶ月以上たってるんですが今こそレビューしよう。 最近、Native InstrumentsのNKS対応し、 Komplete 15 Select（Akai Pro Edition）が追加されました。 他にも謎のベーターテスター募集してたりします。 何かアップデートが裏で進行中な模様。 後、意外なのがMPCに特化対応しているわけでもなく、 この製品はあくまでも汎用的なMIDIキーボードであるという点が重要かと思います。 なのでハッキリ言ってNative Instruments NKSに対応しておけば何とでもなる。 他のソフトシンセは独自にCCマッピングが出来る物が多くほぼ問題にならず、 特定のキーボード用のPresetがあるかないかというと、 そんなもん各シンセメーカーの対応次第。 後はDAWインテグレーション機能ですが、まあ普通にどのメーカーも似たり寄ったり。 DAWインテグレーションは所詮ハードウェアを超えられない。 DAWの操作系とその操作にピンポイント対応してるデバイスがあるならそれを買うべき。 どんなに頑張ってもDAW側が効率化しないと無駄で、 現状世界のDAWのセオリーは非効率の上に成り立ってる。 余程その辺りで意識改革がないと改善は未来永劫ないです。 だって90年代からMIDIは何も変わってないから。 まあだからこそ最近のハードウェア上でのシーケンス機能が、 絶妙に効率が高かったりするという変な状況があったりするわけでしてｗ つまり設計はハード/ソフト両方の操作系を統合して設計しないと駄目。 なので妥協しましょう。 その前提で注意がいくつかあります。 1.キーボード側のパラメーターの変更など、カスタム機能はハードウェアでしかできない 2.アルペジエーターやLatchなどの機能は内部Clock/BPMオンリー 3.そもそも上記の機能は機能実現の為に仕組み上内部Clockが必要だから搭載されてるだけ 4.結果的に通常のMIDIデバイスのようにMIDI同期がないという微妙な設計ミスがある という感じ。MIDIコントローラーではありますが、 こいつはシーケンサーでもシンセサイザーでもないので、 MIDI同期をする前提がないという微妙な作りをしている。 これは予想外😭 考えてみれば内部に音源もシーケンサーも持ってないから必要ないんだけど、 Clockが必要な機能は同期できないとほぼ死に機能確定ｗ 単独で使う分には使えるんで、DAWとBPM合わせればいいけど、 内部のClock精度が違うからまあズレるよね🥲 というか、Studio Instrument Collectionにシーケンサー付けるべきだろこれｗ

Certains disent que le clavier est moins bon que chez Arturia, j'ai pu comparer et c'est faux. Les deux sont aussi mauvais, du genre plastic à ressort, mais ils ne sont pas conçu pour jouer du Chopin. Pour tout le reste je trouve ce nouveau modèle bien supérieur, il n'y a pas mieux dans cette catégorie. Les touches de contrôle sont de très bonne qualité et précises, avec rétro-éclairage, les pads biens sensibles, les mollettes pitch bend et modulation enfin réelleset très jouables, le contrôle d'Ableton Live est excellent, les sons et logiciels fournis avec le mini clavier sont suffisant si on débute. Pour les autres la prise midi et un vrai plus. Par exemple je contrôle totalement ma Boss RC 600 avec le MKP. Le MKP m'évite aussi de devoir déplacer ma Push2 quand je passe au coin clavier tellement le contrôle de Live est bien intégré. En déplacement juste avec un ordi on peut déjà faire énormément de choses et continuer de travailler des idées sur son DAW. En complément dans un environnement home-studio, le clavier apporte toujours un plus en surface de contrôle ou en source sonore si on a un autre ordi disponible et il ne prend pas de place. Bref à ce prix là, aucune raison de s'en priver.
