So far so good
Ordered Prime yesterday, arrived today less than 24-h. Stellar.I have been with the EZ Twist system since it was in Dupont filters many years ago. Dupont's water filter business had subsequently been taken over by Culligan. The same EZ Twist format is currently used by Brita products at Home Depot and AC Moore products at Lowes in the US. Culligan has since moved on to a different format and thus their current line of filters no longer includes the EZ Twist system.Currently, any Culligan branded EZ twist system is either being sold at clearance prices - or in some cases scalped at ridiculous prices. In this Waterdrop filter listing, I found that I can get two of the EZ 4 compatible carts for less than what I expected. Waterdrop also has EZ 1 and EZ 3 carts also for much less than EZ 4. Thanks to Waterdrop's listing, I discovered that the Culligan and Dupont brands are completely interchangeable between any of the EZ 1,2, or 4 carts and I decided to order some EZ4 and try them out. I already have enough EZ1 and 3 carts. When they get discontinued at the big box stores, they go on liquidation for ridiculous prices - and over the years I have more EZ1 and 3 carts branded Cultigen, Dupont, and Brita than I would need for over 5-years.The Ez 4 filters are larger than the Ez 1 and 3 I used previously, but I already knew that from the item description. Something new, was that there was a sealing cap on the filter that I had never seen on any previous filters. When I removed this plug, a sudden rush of air whooshed through the filter opening - leading me to believe that it was packed under a specific gas and/or pressure conditions to preserve it until use. I don't know if it makes any difference or not, but it's something new.The filter installed without a hitch into my old Dupont Basic housing (later rebranded as the Culligan EZ 1 and now discontinued). When priming the filter, a lot of air came out for a while - which is new. After priming it, the results are stellar. I was probably fine with the EZ1 cart I had been using for years - I have a sediment filter inline before it. I can tell there is a difference between the Dupont or Culligan Ez 1 cart I was using, but I don't know if it's any better yet. I know the water is still odorless and almost tasteless. Comparing it to unfiltered, the unfiltered has a strong odor of chlorine and has a somewhat funky taste while and shortly after drinking. Granted, the EZ1 filter did the same thing and the funky tastes of the unfiltered water are easily masked by mixing with a flavor. However, for the price I paid, these filters are a bargain. I hope they stay around the same price. Art the rate I use filters, it will be some months before I need more.EDIT: This manufacturer is genius in that it has removed the keying system and allowed it to fit into Culligan, Dupont, Brita, and most likely AO Smith systems. The OEM carts have a keying system that will not allow a name brand cart to fit into a different brand. But without the keying system and only the 2 holes - this particular line of filters by Waterdrop is interchangeable between all these, and probably more , brands. GENIUS!

Replacement for DuPont WFQT 3 stages under the sink water filter
I bought this Waterdrop water filter for Du Pont 3 stages under sink water filter replacement:2 of RC 3 EZ (Waterdrop) to replace 2 original Black labeled WFQT 7000QT(DuPont)1 of RC 4 EZ (Waterdrop) to replace the 1 original blue labeled WFQT 9000QT(DuPont). I don't know if this is Microbiological, but I think it is, according to the water elements removed chart by this filter.I know this is made in China. However, the manufacturer's location and the distributor's location are all clearly indicated on the waterdrop.com website., and you can trace them on Google Earth. The customer service replied to the calls very soon.I tried to purchase an American product and did not get any reply after a few times calling and voice mail left. It also has an Unknown Manufacturer location, unknown distributor location, and only a UPS store location provided for the return. So I decided to purchase this made in China products, and they work well. The water is clear and no smell now.I am good with this brand.* I was told that Waterdrop and Water Crest are the same manufacturer, same distributor, and same customer service phone number.

touted to be super filter
easy to install....just use them for the icemakers. claimed to filter a lot of things, chloromines (sp?) being one of the main ones I wanted to filter. Ice has no discernable taste, so somethings working. Large filter, but fit the existing holder well. About 1/2 price of brand name.

Great
See no difference in these and the name brand that easily cost three times more. Water tastes perfect, and is an exact fit. Will continue to purchase this brand for the fridge and countertop ice maker.

Loved it until this time.
We have been using this brand for 3years. We loved it until this time. (I replace it every year) It is very different. It is the same and brand same type. I can smell chlorine just like tap water without filtering… that is why I rated 3 star…
