The HOLOSUN 507C X2 is the real deal. The shake-awake works instantly, the solar backup is clutch, and the reticle options (2 MOA dot or 32 MOA circle) make target acquisition stupid easy. Sturdy red dot, the glass is clear and the red dot is bright with good adjustments.It has shake awake and a solar back up which were important features for me. So far very pleased with the quality. It comes with all the screws you will need to attach it

Great optic ! Their pic rail lights are awesome too . Glass is ruby coated and extremely clear. It's as fog proof as it gets , but I still use a little cat crap..adjustments are easy ,built like a tank and solar backup is a must have ! Well priced too and fits perfect no gaps and looks sweet on a Walther PDP-F frame...adds no felt weight . The best on the market .

So far I love the sight and it seems to be a great RDS which I wanted for hunting season for hogs and for under 350$ it’s a good deal. I went to my local gunsmith and looked at their stuff and asked for suggestions and this is what I ended up buying and it seems to hold zero pretty well. It took 2 adjustments to get it in the center of the paper and holding a decent group. It is as wide as my pistol so it looks as it should on my 10mm. The glass is super clear on it and even with astigmatism I found it easy to acquisition to the RDS because on my S&W M&P 2.0 I can co-witness the iron sights for 2 different ranges. I love the auto brightness but that’s just me, I seen some complain about it but I actually found it to be the right brightness for me like that vs always hunting for the “right” brightness for the ambient light. I actually used it inside and outside my home and it works well in artificial light for me but better in real sunlight of course. All in all I would buy from the seller that I did and found the sight to be in new condition even though the box was not sealed in plastic. Also the screws were in the same type of bag that the one guy is complaining about and saying it’s not factory when it obviously is (at some point the changed the bags they use). 5/5 stars for sure! Won’t be my last Holosun!

These green dots are bright! They are high grade quality with easy setup and adjusting. They are super easy to clean and see through. Compared to some other brands, I can afford these, and are a great value so you don’t pay too much. One thing to note, you need to use a green laser to zero them in. You won’t see red through this.

Holosun is a tried and trusted company. I have use the 507c before and stands up to all the abuse. Holds the red dot on target. Would recommend.

UPDATE to below: I received a replacement HS507C, and it has worked flawlessly. The reticle and brightness modes adjusted as expected, and when the optic is set properly, it's easily daylight bright against lightly-colored backgrounds. I installed the sight as an off-set backup to an LPVO on my rifle. It was easy to zero and serves the purpose well. I've been a bit rough with the sight, not taking any special care to protect it, and it has gotten bumped around on other rifles and smacked against a picnic table a few times. So far it has held zero well. Seems decently built. One criticism: if used as an offset alongside an LPVO, the control buttons are hard to reach, as they sit between the red dot and the LPVO (unless you're a lefty). ********************* I received a HS507C that had obviously been opened already; it had a 2nd sticker covering the original package seal. I could see through the sticker to the original, split seal below. When I powered it up, it did not function correctly. I could change between the available reticles without any problems, but the dot and dot/circle only had two functioning brightness levels. Neither of the available settings was daylight bright. I could only see the dot and reticle within darker rooms inside the house. If I pointed the sight at a lightly colored wall, or out a window, the reticle disappeared. Useless. I popped in a new battery to make sure that wasn't the problem. No difference. Amazon is sending a replacement, but there seem to be many people complaining about receiving open box items, so I thought I'd state that I also received an open box item. Buyer beware. I will update the review if/when I receive a functioning sight.
