OMG my favorite pens I've ever used
I have had these in my cart for MONTHS and months waiting for cyber Monday or black Friday so that I could get a deal on them as they were expensive, but luckily while searching for the black 0.3 version of this pen I can't across this set that was only $17!! Like 20 something dollars less than others I had seen. These are my absolute favorite pens in the entire world!! The 0.4 and 0.3 are my go to pens when coming here to buy more. The pen quality is amazing they are built sturdy with hard plastic not thin plastic, apon receiving them I test them all out and make sure they work and they all write smooth as expected, and come in this clear reusable plastic that has a flap so you can close it up. All in all these pens are the best and I wish I could give more stars!!

Best precision gel-pen ever.
Here I go again, I am going to review this godly made pen but I'll try not to be biased (or worse fangirl) in this review: Anyway! First of all, let me state the facts about the Pilot G-Tec pens. They are all about precision and smooth fine writing. Tells everything about how great a pen is right? That's not just it. This pen is not only for fine writing but is basically for technical purposes. Yes, you are thinking right. People with technical careers like architecture or engineering uses this kind of pen, even artists, because of how this pen works well in technical stuff. So, it's fine if you use it for your daily use (with caution, why? You'll know later) but this pen could do so much more. And if you're buying this sort-of expensive pen, it would be more better for that reason. Do not even start with it's pen life, this thing can last, and when I say last, I mean like about 5-6 months or more (depends on the user) which if you think about it, is a very great investment. Now we covered the great things about this pen, let me talk about the downside. It's not really a downside of it uses (because it is nor lacking at it) but it comes down HOW YOU TAKE CARE of it. This pen would demand more care than any random and basic pen lying around. This pen? When this baby falls from a table or from anything that would make it shake violently? IT WILL PROBABLY 90% WOULD NEVER WORK ANYMORE. It's that sensitive, I'm sorry. It's not really it's fault but because of it's tip, thought promising, is really easily breakable. And once that breaks? You can just either buy a refill for lower expense. There are people who'll try to revive it but it's really hard, you'll just a hard time on your hand. Now citing that stuff, my advice to you is that if you want to buy this pen, be cautious and more careful around the pen. That's why the pen's cap always remind you to CLOSE it whenever you do not use it, because even the makers know how the probability of it living from a accident is fatal and would just cause you more big bucks (for a pen). Also, if you are buying this pen for the heck of it, do check other more basic pens before looking this way because like I said, this pen is more useful in technical way than just a writing pen. (Not that I am discouraging you, but you get what I mean.)

2025-10-15 this pen even writes on rice. Very detailed possibilities await you.
A small but mighty pen tip... I'm used to using Micron 005 series 0.2mm but it's not a ball point out a gel pen... This Pilot G-Tec-C 0.25mm pen is worth it. The pen tip doesn't like the rice grain, but as you'll see in the video, it did actually write pretty well... If you need accuracy, and micro notation, or a Bible liner (although I personally would not write essays in your Bible with this...) or when you're allowed to cram all your notes on to a 3x5 note card for an open note test... ;) this pen could be the hero that saves the day... Highly recommend for fine details in art, or music correction for performers of sheet music, or study enthusiasts of any kind, or just to impress your buddies when you need to show them a secret message on a rice grain...

Fantastic fine-line pen, especially for the value
This is a terrific "everyday" pen for those who like high-performance drafting pens but don't want to put up with the cost or hassle of really high specification pens. The line is very fine, very dark, and very consistent. It's excellent for general note taking, sketchnotes, and basic line drawing. I have much less problems with tip clogging with this pen than with most other gel pens I have used. The cap has a very nice positive "click" and feels secure and durable. At this price, I just buy them two at a time so that I always have a spare; now that I'm used to the G-Tec-C I hate going back to anything else. The only reason this isn't a five-star pen is the barrel is a little too small diameter and/or too firm (I have big fingers). If it was slightly larger or had some grip material it would be perfect.

Great pens!
The PILOT G-Tec-C Gel Ink Pens are absolutely fantastic! The ultra-fine 0.4mm point makes writing precise and clean, perfect for detailed notes, lists, or any task that requires accuracy. The black ink is rich and smooth, with no skipping or blotting, making writing a pleasure. I love how effortlessly these pens glide on paper, providing a consistent flow of ink that dries quickly, preventing smudging. The 12-pack is an excellent value for the price, and these pens last longer than I expected, even with regular use. They are comfortable to hold, and the design is sleek and professional. If you’re looking for high-quality pens that offer precision and reliability, these are the perfect choice. Highly recommend them for anyone who values smooth, accurate writing!

Buy 12 for best price. Thin drawing pen with a steel tip.
So, these pens are really designed just for drawing (not writing) and at a very fine, therefore detailed and light level at that. Before using this 0.25 mm pen, my concept design instructor uses Copic alcohol marker's neutral gray (N-0) or cold gray C-0, for design experimentation. Then this very delicate 0.25 mm pen is used as lightly as possible, letting basically just the weight of the pen itself drag across the Copic design. This lets the experimental design take shape gradually yet can still be modified. The light 0.25 mm pen ink is easily removed when later scanned into a photo or 3-D computer graphic program. After that my instructor adds thinker lines to the fore-ground with the Pilot G (HI in Japan)-tec-C4 0.4 or 0.5 mm. So I suggest if you are a designer, try both this 0.25 and the 0.4 mm. Personally I also add 0.5, 0.6 and 0.8 of the Pental Arts Hybrid technica brand and a thick Pentel FP5M (long not the smaller compact one) brush pen with waterproof ink. This 0.25 mm pen's ink needs to dry, the same as any waterproof pen ink. Be patient, some of my marker paper takes 24 hours before I can add my Copic cold gray values of C-2,4,6 and 8 without smearing. At this point I scan into my Mac Mini and finish with color electronic rendering. The "bottom line" is some kind of thin line pen is needed for experimentation without stopping for erasing. This Pilot G-Tec-C 0.25 mm is my favorite. Buy 12 for the best price. My Pentel 0.3 mm Arts, Hybrid Technica also works okay for about an hour, but is somehow not a comfortable to draw with for the kind of all-day long hours I work. My Copic Multiliner pens are comfortable, but the tip wears out too fast.

Would recommend!
I love how thin this pen writes, the colors are vibrant and the ink flow is very smooth and precise. I would 100% buy again.
