The protein bars themselves are fantastic—very clean ingredients and tasty when fresh. However, the ones I received from this particular vendor were extremely stale, terribly hard, and basically inedible. They had clearly been sitting around for too long. If you’re considering buying these bars, I’d recommend choosing a different seller to avoid this issue. Avoid this vendor.

After my Kind protein bars were not being so kind to my digestive system I did an AI search looking for a protein bar that had at least 12 g of protein, no seed oils, no soy, and no artificial ingredients or fillers. I bought two boxes of three different bars from Amazon to select the best for me. RXBar has 12g of protein, 200 calories, and is very clean, but it sticks to the teeth and melts easily. The chocolate sea salt has a good taste, and I will probably keep some on hand just for a change of pace. I got two sample boxes of Atlas, which has a solid 20g of protein and only 1g of sugar with 210 cal. Flavors are all good, but the bars themselves are greasy, one in particular I ended up eating with a fork. There’s also a few more ingredients than I would prefer. I’ll eat the bars that I have, but I won’t buy them again. My favorite by far is Rise and the honey cinnamon and almond honey are both excellent tasting with a nice chunky consistency that is fairly dry out of the package. I find them very satisfying and durable when carried in a backpack or car. Calories are a little higher, but it comes from a protein source (almonds) and with the lowest sodium (40mg), just 3 or 5 ingredients, and 18g of protein - I have my new go to bar!

Less quality ingredients disguised with a new wrapper, please consider this review and photos: You get lesser quality ingredients! The “new bars” have less protein, more salt, more sugar, and a higher fat %/DV as add ins, so disappointed RISE has shifted into the propaganda/content shift of processed foods with more addictive ingredients. The bar tasted just fine as it was. Very disappointed with the swap of ingredient content here! When advertising “new look…” companies will change quantities and ingredients, so please look out for you; they will not. While the calories overall remain the same 280, they are now putting in less protein and more sugar/sodium. Vegan protein bars offer 15-18g at this high of calories and a quality animal protein bar should be offering 20-25g at this calorie count. Sugar and sodium are addicting and inexpensive for companies compared to protein. The RISE bars now have more preservative products that are cheaper than protein and yet the bars remain the same if not higher in costs to us, the consumers. These bars do not cost any less with the “new look” however, the manufacture is surely saving money. You now get 2g less protein (20g Vs 18g) and MORE of what we do not need in our diets…sodium is now 40mg Vs 20 (DOUBLE!!) more added sugar, 15g Vs 13g and the fat percentage increased, from 21% DV to 25%. This is a protein bar I have enjoyed for years and now, at the same or higher price you are getting less of the ingredient driving us to PROTEIN bars.

After having researched many protein bars for several reasons. One big reason: I despise any sort of artificial sweetener (including Stevia, monk fruit, etc.). They placed highly on various lists of "best rated protein bars". The simplicity of the ingredients (only 3!) was also a definite plus. The protein content is high and they taste good as long as they're chilled. This is a personal preference, though, and may not be necessary for other buyers, and I still carry one in my purse. My only issue is that the surface of the bars is quite oily - in fact, I stained a pair of pants after having set what I thought was a closed one on my leg. [Another plus: my 1-year-old grandson loves them (he's ok to eat honey as he passed the 12-month mark). I feel very good feeding him such a "clean" food.]

These are probably really good for you with limited healthy ingredients but they are a bit heavy to be eating while on a training run. Felt like i needed a glass of milk to wash the bar down with.

High protein content comes from whey isolate which may upset sensitive stomachs. Overall as the name says, clean and simple.

Très bon goût et nourrissant. Texture assez dense, on est loin des barres tendres de granola LOL. Je les recommande, j'apprécie qu'elles soient naturelles, simples et contiennent peu d'ingrédients.

No refined sugars and no seed oils. This is a clean and great tasting protein bar. My absolute favorite brand to buy now.
