Mohawk 12203 Copy Paper, 98 Brightness, 28lb, 8-1/2 x 11, Bright White, 500 Sheets

I purchased this paper because the warm white paper I have been using is no longer available on Amazon. This is white, 28 lb paper that is not blinding white which I do not want anyway. I compared images printed on both papers and the Mohawk paper prints colors just a little better than the other paper. I'm very pleased and will be using this paper for my small books in the future.

This paper is heavy, glossy, and bright. I've used this for a few years now, as I love paper product luxuries. It feels almost a little indulgent to use as daily writing paper. I also enjoy it for calligraphy and my inks do not bleed. I do find it ex*pen*sive! But, I have yet to find another similar quality, recycled, product sold by the single ream. If I had the storage space, I certainly would opt for a comparable product sold by the case at a better price. I thought of taking off one star due to high price. Usually, high price reflects greed at the top and low payed workers at the bottom. But, sometimes, ethical companies charge steeper prices because they make good choices that raise production costs. I'll hold off as I haven't researched Mohawk's corporate and employee ethics yet.

Great paper, but packaging came ripped all over

I think This Mohawk brand paper is the answer to the problem of substandard printer quality from my new Brother printer. This Brother printer wasn't cheap for a little home-use desk top and I was ready to ship it back because the printing quality was fuzzy, poorly defined and washed out looking. But I decided to research some different printer paper.I used very good 24 lb, 96 bright Hammermill paper for my HP printer and it was excellent. Looked good. But it did not work as nicely on the Brother printer. I still strongly support the Hammermill brand. I just can't use it on the Brother.I'm hoping Mohawk paper is the answer because I'm tired of installing printers. It is a beautiful paper. Feels good and looks good.

The media could not be loaded. My paper package was wrapped well, but when I got the the actual paper, the package was completely ripped open. As if it had been used. I am thinking this is not true Mohawk paper. Do not buy.

I have been an avid fan of Mohawk's 28lb for over a decade. It is an exceptional quality paper holds color very well and feels nice in the hand. But every time I've ordered it off of Amazon, the outer paper wrapper is almost always torn and the ream comes with some damage. Most of the paper is typically salvageable, but its a real shame to loose so much paper each time I do a re-order. Better packaging or shipping would make this an easy 5-star product.

I love the weight of this paper! I had to print off materials for school and was going to be using post it notes and tabs on the pages, but I wanted to be able to move them around without tearing the pages. Also, handling the pages and taking sections out can wear down normal weigh paper (20-lb). This paper is wonderful at 28 lb weight. I'm definitely going to purchase more of this, I still have another 2 binders to make. It's not too thick and runs through the printer easily.

I'm so happy with this paper! I was nervous buying paper online because what I was looking for was a very specific feel (super smooth, but not glossy). This paper came through with everything I was hoping it to be! I don't notice the brightness difference so much, so I'm not a good judge about that. I was just looking for the smoothness and was very happy that it delivered! Will buy again, and thinking of getting the 32lb paper from this brand too. Not that this one isn't thick enough, its better than any other regular printer paper I've tried (even 28lb), I just want thicker for other projects.
