Paul Mitchell Dry Wax, Long-Lasting Hold, Matte Finish, For All Hair Types, 1.8 oz

Been using Paul Mitchell Dry Wax for nearly 20 years to protect my hairstyle from frizz (and add a little hold) without the oily, greasy, or shiny look and feel of other products designed for frizz control. It's especially a lifesaver on humid days or when sweating. While I've occasionally been curious enough to try similar, newer products from other brands, I find that nothing else compares to this, and I always go right back to it. Plus this product is EXTREMELY cost effective compared to oily frizz-control products, which don't last long before needing to repurchase. A little bit of Dry Wax rubbed onto the fingers goes a long way. From trial and error, I've learned that I prefer a very tiny amount, even smaller than the size of a dime for my hair. Each jar lasts me close to two years. And using this product does NOT cause your hair to look waxy... UNLESS you want it to. It all depends on how much you use. For frizz-control, only a very tiny amount is needed. As a BONUS: this product does not have a strong scent at all. It's pleasant and very light, especially once applied to the hair. I feel like whatever light scent it does have initially, once applied quickly wears off, which is great since I don't like smelling like hair products.

My absolute go to for hair wax. I have fine, brittle hair and this does the job to style my hair. Non greasy and super easy to wash out at the end of the day. Super affordable too! Not much of a scent and very lightweight which is what I like.

The product is decent quality although a bit expensive. It would be nice if it had a 'push up' so you didn't have to dig your fingers to get the product out. it's a good product for texturizing and placing hair. easily manageable throughout the day.

It was delivered in a timely manner. The product does what it says it will do. The texture is very hard so to get any amount on your hands you have to dig a little out. Don't think you can rub your finger tips directly on the product to get enough out. It smells good to. It does work and it has a pleasant smell.

This isn’t pomade, it’s waterproof wax. I put a pinky tip finger amount in my hair and it made my hair look like it was oily and hadn’t been washed in days. I hated it so much I took a shower after a full business day of having it in my hair. It didn’t come out. It’s like I put marine wax in my hair that is 100% waterproof or something. I washed my hair four times. Still feels like it’s there. Three days after use and I still am not sure it’s all out yet. When I say this is the worst pomade I have ever used, I mean it quite literally. This isn’t an emotional rant of rage… it’s a factual post about this insanely bad hair product. I love Paul Mitchell products so I am shocked this is as bad as it is. I literally used a finger tip of it and threw it away. Unless I needed to patch my river waders, tent or seal up a boat — probably the only things this waterproof wax is good for — I had zero desire to ever put this on my head again. Hundreds of better products out there. Steer clear of this one.
