Purchased these to replace carabiner key fobs that broke. These looked sturdy in the pictures and they really are! If anything, they are a bit heavy. I use them to hold keys and clip them either to the ring on my purse or the belt loop on my jeans. Easy for me to clasp / unclasp, although would be too heavy to use with light-weight belt loops unless keys could reach your pocket. I especially like the mechanism also for inserting the O-ring. Unlike other styles, it won't release the keys if the carabiner is open accidently. But when the carabiner clasp is held open, I can maneuver the ring to/from the bottom section to the top of the carabiner. Glad I got a 5-pack, already have four in use. May buy more for easy gifts.

These things are awesome if you have need to shuffle around a lot of different keys. I got a 5 pack and have connected different keys to each one…motorcycle keys, car keys, storage unit keys, apartment keys, etc. and then I just swap them on/off my main keychain as needed. Very convenient. Now when I go running, I pop off the apartment keys (they used to be attached to my keychain permanently with my car fob, which is big/bulky) and put them in the pocket of my running shorts, and now they don’t bang around and aren’t bulky b/c they’re still attached with my main keychain and car fob. If I’m going to a concert, I pop on the carabiner with my Eargasm Earplugs, and I’m good to go. It’s always nice when you run into something that just works well and makes little chores in everyday life a lot easier to manage. These carabiners are great!

The carabiner part of the keychain is nice thick and sturdy but the quality of the chrome plating on the key ring is extremely poor. 3 / 5 of the rings started to peel within 2 weeks of use. It would have been better if they just use stainless steel rings

These look nice, they feel very durable, Im going to order a few more for my flag poles.
