Red Kap Men's Exterior Pocket Lab Coat

This lab coat is just what I wanted. I've used lab coats since college and this one is very nice. It is comfortable and warm with nice heavy fabric and durable. It is nice enough to work with a shirt and necktie for a more formal look. Whatever your environment, hospital, laboratory, workshop, or YouTube set, this is a great coat for the job. A great value for the price.

Much heavier coat than I was expecting, also much longer. I have another coat, by a different 'best seller' manufacturer, and this one is definitely much heavier, and much longer. Size wise, it fits me rather well maybe a little on the larger size. I comfortably wear a medium T-shirt, and this jacket gives me extra shoulder width but still is not excessive. Overall I really do like the coat, but my ONLY issue is I wish it was about 3 inches shorter in length, as I'm not the tallest of people and it comes mid-calf on me. And i wish the hand slits on the side were about half an inch lower as well. I may just have to hem it myself. But the material quality is excellent and the stitching seems to be very well.

I started working in a research lab at school and wanted a better coat than the thin cheap one I was using from previous lab courses. I was very surprised with the quality of the coat for the price. I’m 6’/210lbs and the large fit perfectly, it sits comfortably over your clothes with enough room so you don't feel as restricted in it like some coats do. The only reason it got four stars and not five is that I was hoping it would be a bit thicker material and not as “see through”. It’s not too noticeable though. Either way, this is a great coat for the price and you’ll be looking more professional in the lab!

Sizing is a little on the small size. I ordered for my 18 year old for his Chem lab at Penn State. He's not very large - 5ft 10 and 145lbs. And I got him a medium. He said it was a little tight over the shoulders / under arms. But too late to return and as I said to him - next one we will know better - or this could just be a wrongly labled one. Pockets are well situated Quality of fabric is good. Material is not too thin or thick. Seems just right. Solid buy price/quality and next day delivery - not much to complain about.

Overall quality seems okay. Did return product because of sizing issue. I stand 5' 10', 185 lbs. Chest and shoulders were snug. Could hardly raise arms. Sleeve length was short. Waist and coat length were okay

Is exactly what he needed

Well fitted(I have broad shoulders and the Large fits well), perfect thickness of fabric and the quality is good. Main functionality issue is that the pockets are a bit small and the side slits for pant pocket access are way too small for a person with large hands! Also, the stitching isn't of fine quality. There are loose threads and seem that they could need reinforcement. Other than that, the fabric is nice and the buttons are fastened well.
