Aloneaka Silent Quartz Clock Movement, Long and Short Shaft with Hands Battery Powered, Wall Clock Mechanism Motor Replacement DIY Repair Parts

Bought these to repair a clock I bought from another site. I was hesitant as I'm not the most technical person, but hey ho, it all went well and months later the clock is still going well. It keeps great time, very accurate and ticks away silently ! The hands were just the right size and it was good to have a selection to choose from !

These are very thin. I ve had paper thicker! They bend very easily which isn't good as you have to press very firmly to get the hands on the mechanism. I had a set of hands missing. I was expecting a little better quality for the price. I ve brought very cheap ones before and these are of the same quality. I thought they would at least be strong enough to withstand the force needed to set them up. Its a shame. They do seem to work OK for now. The battery was quite a tight fit. There were no instructions but after studying the pictures I figured it out and whilst the pressure needed made it difficult. The setup was very simple. OK product but perhaps not worth the price and missing parts. Edit: I have since spoken to the seller regarding the missing part and a whole new set was sent to me as compensation for the trouble. This was dealt with and sent very easily and quickly so therefore I will be changing my review to 4 stars.

Really good value quartz clock motors, great price for 2 plus a choice of fingers, these motors were a perfect fit for the original fingers so we're not needed this time. Some people love the ticking sound but I wanted silence & these make no sound at all. Just beware there are 2 spindle lengths & with thin clock faces the protusion may be too great, I suggest thick packing washers at the rear as a way around this problem. So far as time keeping goes after 1 week they have not needed adjusting.

I bought this mechanism to replace the motor in my 30-inch wall clock, but it turned out to be too small and under-powered for that size. The product itself seems well made and runs quietly, so I believe it would work perfectly for small or medium clocks (around 10–14 inches). I probably should have checked the measurements more carefully before ordering. I returned it, but I would still recommend it for smaller DIY clock repair projects.

These are ace! After watching a few YouTube videos to gain a bit of knowledge, I was able to change the mechanism in a lovely clock I had bought which had a very noisy irregular tick. This set has kept good time since (few months now) and I was even able to trim the hands down easily.

Replacement works perfectly. Unfortunately all the clock hour and minute arms are long for larger or medium face clocks and that's why I've only given 4 stars

These work perfectly! I put them to work several months ago, and they are still ticking along, keeping time perfectly. They were easy to install and fit just right. The variety of hands is wonderful. You're sure to find what suits you. I was apprehensive about these because of the low price, but they are excellent.

die Uhr läuft zufriedenstellend und ziemlich genau. Zeiger sind sehr dünn und vebiegen sich bei der Montage sehr schnell. als Montagehilfe eignet sich ein Kugelschreiber sehr gut. Miene entfernen und dann erst testen ob der Durchmesser ausreicht. Wenn Ja, mit dem kleinen runden Loch die Zeiger vorsichtig hineindrücken.

Sostituito meccanismo a un orologio, vecchio, ma per me bello, con l altro meccanismo, (la confezione è doppia) , ne costruiro' uno anch'io......
