Ok.. So I was a little hesitant to purchase this due to a lot of the reviews.. but I gave it a try as this coordinated with the flooring in my office & the space I had allocated. The actual box it came in was damaged (shipping comp. not sender issue) so I was worried.. but when I opened the box, I was relieved. This was not only secured but padded with styrofoam & even had corner protectors. No damage was done to the cabinet. I then laid everything out & every piece is nicely labeled ~ clear and concise... the only labels I had to really look for were on the drawer glides (they are molded in the metal & painted black so they don't stand out right away). I must say adding the dual screw driver & the Allen wrench is a very very nice touch as I didn't have to go into the garage to bring them in. I followed the instruction photos exactly (I'm not a reader for instructions is pictures are provided) by the booklet ~ EASY one person install ~ I did not attached the wheels as in my situation it was not necessary. But the drawers open & close nicely. Although the drawers are light & rather loud (I am used to soft close), once I have items in them then are not as pronounced. Most likely I will switch out the glides for soft close. But thats beyond the point. I really do enjoy this file cabinet & feel for the price it is pretty good. The shipping was decent.. the shipping comp. needs a talking too but having said that the shipper packaged the item VERY well, so I thank you for that!

All the parts are labeled and the instruction manual is A- only because you really have to pay attention to the details on each page to avoid installing something incorrectly. If you are handy with hand tools, you'll be able to assemble this is 4-5 hours. If you have a table or workbench or mobile cart to assemble on it'll be much easier than laying out on the floor. All the tools you need are included except a #2 Phillips screwdriver, but if you have a power drill with hex and screwdriver bits, it'll save your wrist from hundreds of pretty high torque twists.The precision of all the parts is impeccable. The parts count was exact, but they also include a bag of "spares" in case you lose a part or if their count were to be off. If you can lay out all the small parts, organized on a flat surface, that's great. Else, I used a multi-compartment organizer box to keep them all separate and visible.CONS:None, except I thought I was going to get this done in 1-2 hours. But. the resulting product is exactly what I wanted.

This product is terrible. It is fairly easy to assemble… just takes a bit of time. I got to one of the very last steps and the part I was to install screws in didn’t have the pre drilled holes, as did the other pieces. Furthermore, it had the laminate covering on all sides (which it wasn’t supposed to), so I couldn’t even free drill the holes if I wanted to bc I didn’t have proper tools. To make things even worse, I had to pay shipping to return this item! It some very well packed in foam, in a very compressed box. It would have been impossible for me to take it apart and get it back in the box as it was shipped to me. KEEP THIS IN MIND BEFORE ORDERING!! IT COST ME $35 TO RETURN IT!! I would consider another product and DO NOT recommend purchasing this.

Update:The replacement process was excellent and I received my replacement part today. The cabinet came together nicely and I am pleased with the customer support I received. The cabinet looks great, but does need a little extra shimming I plan to do for the drawers and locks. Overall, it accomplishes it's intended purpose and my printer is now on top of the cabinet as it is an excellent printer stand in addition to being a file cabinet and storage unit. Upgraded review to 5 stars due to prompt and excellent customer care.Original reviewI ordered this and it arrived early. When I began constructing it, I received two of the "#13" left wooden sides for the large file drawer. I was missing the right side (#14). I sent the vendor an email - seems like it is a straightforward process. Overall quality is good and the instructions are reasonably clear. I was able to get it mostly built in an hour until I ran into the snag with the duplicate part. I hope it goes well with the replacement piece. I will update this review once I hear back and get the replacement piece sent to me.
