Silk Face Mask Reusable, Comfortable and Breathable | Adjustable Ear Loops | Adjustable Nose Wire

I ended up with an awful case of perioral dermatitis on my chin from wearing cotton masks. It sucked! I tried everything before having to finally see a dermatologist and start a thirty day, twice a day dose of oral antibiotics. Ugh! The dermatologist said that they’ve seen a marked increase in the number of people with perioral dermatitis with all the mask wearing and recommended I try a silk mask instead, as the cotton is less breathable and the coarse texture can irritate skin.Now, whether you have mascne, PD, or just have a hard time breathing in other masks, you WANT this mask! It’s seriously dreamy. I rarely order things that don’t have Prime because I worry they won’t ship, if they do it will take forever to arrive, and if it arrives I won’t be able to return it. I decided to take a chance because of the positive reviews and price point and I am SO glad I did—I just ordered more! It’s silky soft, incredibly well made and the nose bar and adjustable ear loops just seal the deal.Stop debating and switch to silk. Lean in to mask life and treat yourself.Yes, it’s hand wash only, but at this price, how many do you really want to buy? It’s not difficult to wash each night, I just do it right after I finish washing my face each night.UPDATE: 11/15/2020Both of my two silk masks are holding up extraordinarily well with daily hand washing in warm water with Woolite Delicate followed by damp ironing. I just ordered another one because COLORS! I ordered the champagne colored one and it’s very pretty. Not really a nude color and more brown undertone but very pretty! I debated between the pink and the champagne and figured the champagne would be more neutral.

By no means are these medical quality but if you're looking for an elegant mask that will likely provide some protection without ruining your look - these are your masks. They were a bit pricey, but I feel that they were worth it. The silk appeared to be genuine (though I didn't do a burn test to confirm) and it definitely felt like a real silk. I also appreciated that this mask fit my face; and didn't constantly move once I set the wires in place (for context i'm a plus size woman and at times my face is more puffy than I am a fan of).

This is my favorite mask ever. I wear glasses and the nose wire is nice and wide so my glasses never steam up. I have to talk to customers all day and this mask doesn’t muffle my voice at all. There are two layers of really soft silk. They get even softer with washing. I wash mine by hand in really hot soapy water and it dries quickly. Using silk masks has tremendously helped my skin. I wear a mask all day for work, and this mask is somehow breathable while keeping my skin clear of maskne. The bottom part of my face is always so soft when I take it off. The ears are adjustable and don’t stress me out or get sore. It’s well made, and is lovely 100% real silk.

I purchased 1 black and 1 white for our upcoming wedding. The material is lightweight and silky, which feels great on your skin. The pleated feature looks chic and can be unfolded / pulled down to expand and fit most face sizes. The top of the mask that goes over the bridge of the nose has a wire built-in allowing more security and making it less foggy for those who wear glasses. My only CON is the smell of the fabric. I suffer from MCS (Multiple Chemical Sensitivity) and the chemically smell in the mask makes it impossible for me to use. i plan on having someone wash it for me so that I'm able to wear it on my wedding day without suffering from a respiratory attack. Other than the smell, the mask is awesome and shipping was fast!

Am so very glad that I bought this mask, knowing what a great fabric silk is. I also bought silicone brackets, enough masks and brackets for my husband and my two hospice nurses. I do not really go out of the house, but feel a bit more at ease when others occasionally come into my room. The combination of the bracket and the silk masks make me feel a bit more protected, and the brackets help to increase the comfort of the silk masks. Both are very comfortable, and not like I want to squirm out of the mask! Do hope my nurses will find the brackets and silk more comfortable and protective first layers. Even two layers of silk masks are not uncomfortable, and breathing remains easy and cool. Excellent product. . .and pretty! I got the pink ones. Thanks for a great product.

The satin fabric and color of this mask is great, in fact I did get compliments on it. The sheen and fabric looks elegant. I like the adjustable nose wire, too. However, as someone else said, the mask expands vertically and becomes huge, covering everything but the eyes-and-above. Personally, I felt engulfed in it and that it made my face look too big in photographs. Another issue is the black plastic adjustable thing on the mask's loops, which can be used to attach it to mask-holders/chains. It's a useful feature, however it sits behind the ears and in a few hours it would hurt and dig into the back of my ears. That issue can be fixed, though, by just removing those black loops...but that means you couldn't attach a mask chain holder on those loops. I think this can be improved by sewing at places on the mask so that the height would remain fairly fixed (and have just a small range of adjustable fabric in the middle.

Best masks I’ve found. They are easier to breathe in than cotton, gentler on my skin, and don’t fog up my glasses nearly as much as others. The thin fabric and stronger nose piece make it so the fabric actually confirms to my face, which helps prevent glasses fog. I wish the elastic was just a little longer, but it’s not uncomfortable. The biggest downside is that because it’s so lightweight, it does cling to your face when you breathe. If this bothers you, a mask bracket might help. I prefer the clinginess to stiffer masks that I can’t get any air through. I’ve been washing it in a laundry bag and putting it in the dryer and it’s been fine. I do have to iron it.
