A simple to use good quality tape for book binding. It is a self-adhesive fabric, painted brown in my case. Made in the USA. It is thick but easy to cut or tear by hand. Because it is fabric, it splits easily by hand to any width. 2 inches is a good width for many books. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Great color and adhesive. Adhesive stays attached. Unfortunately it's not 2"wide, about 1/8" short in width so if you're doing precise measuring and need the exact width.

The Bible is very old and well used. I am more interested in using the book than it looking pretty. The tape was just recently put on the Bible so we'll see how it holds. It seems to be sturdy and tight and it's well rated so I expect the best from it.

Crystal clear, it obscures nothing. I have used it to: attach book covers that have separated from sewn bindings; secure loose pages within books; and to bind covers torn from books. Made in America, if that matters to you. Works equally well on paperbacks and hardbacks. The tape is NOT easy to tear; a pair of small scissors nearby is helpful. Alas, on larger projects, another pair of hands is necessary, so evaluate carefully before you start. Only time will tell if the tape discolors with age.

i had a cook book from my mother with alot of memories with a gazillion old recipes i grew up with that was falling apart. a hard cover and it was all split and old fixes were falling off. this tape just adherred immediately and now its completely usable. my wife said. "who knew you could buy that?" well im cookin with the book again. many colors and wide size.

My Concordance was starting to show signs of stress on the binding and I used this tape to strengthen it from the inside. Its strong and durable while being flexable. Hard back books need a lot of spine support. Leaaving them upright on the shelf really puts stress on the spine because the paper isn't even with the shell so gravity just keeps the pressure on it. Using this tape can help fight that.
