Fits Mossberg Maverick 88
I got this sight since it was so cheap and was a quick screw on to my Mossberg. The 5-40 thread is the correct one and you will have to file it down somewhat so it doesn't protrude into the barrel. I used locktite to make sure it wouldn't back out after shooting and I haven't had a single issue. Shot around 60 rounds through it and the sight never budged. Definitely better than the original brass bead site. Although the setup is a little finicky with all the steps I still give it 5 stars since the package doesn't say anything about mossberg.

Works just like it should!
I installed this (2.6mm) on a Stoeger P3000. From the factory it came with a big fat bead. It gathered light well, and kind of was in the way. Somehow the fiber got broken giving me an opportunity to install this smaller Truglo bead.Love it! Not the brightest sight, but easy to pick up without covering what you want to see.

Tiny but bright
Very compact bead with high viz fiber. If you have any eyesight issues, this may not be a good choice. In the daytime it lights right up but is still a very small aimpoint. Construction seems solid. Shall see how it holds up after a few trap shoots.

Bad Fit on Mossberg Maverick 88
I agree with one guy who said this does not work with the "thin" barrel Mossberg Maverick 88. You have to file the threads way too low. My pics show OEM bead, this sight filed down to one thread and a larger bead that I ultimately installed.

Fit SX3 perfectly
Fit perfectly on my Winchester SX3. Filled the threads with blue thread locker, and tightened lightly to make parallel with the rib. Will revisit the review if durability issues arise from abuse in a blind. Seems bright enough and not too large to distract from target

Fits M590A1
After 500+ shells I noticed the red piece fell off somewhere? No idea where it went nor did I know it could even do that.I was sent a replacement though so the company took care of me, I guess I'll be adding some epoxy to the new one to make sure it stays put!Mossberg 590A1, birdshot, buckshot, slugs, minishells

Be careful…
I can’t speak to the item’s function or quality because I received the wrong model twice. Two times I ordered the 5-40 thread pitch, two times I received the 2.6 mm model (I confirmed that I did order the 5-40 both times). I’m not making the same mistake a 3rd time. I ordered it from another retailer. I’m leaving a 3-star review because I’ve had good luck with TRUGLO products in the past and this isn’t their fault. From what I could see, it looks like a quality item.

kind of small but
as others have pointed out its kind of small but it works great or at least better than the little brass front bead sight, my old eye are starting to have some trouble picking up the front sight on some firearms and this helps a lot and i think once i mount a flashlight it should stand out even at night, it did take a few strokes with a file to get the threads short enough so they don't extend down into the barrel, file a little at a time and test fit as you go and add a drop of loctite and call it good.
