Erasure are back with their 18th studio album. The Neon offers us warmth and a brilliant brightness in its sound in our strange, silent times. It connects us to our pasts and our futures as it glistens with hope. It creates beautiful places where our imaginations can roam, bringing us together, twinkling and beaming. The Neon puts us in the real world again, now and forever, lit up and alive Tracklist 1. Hey Now (Think I've Got A Feeling) 2. Nerves of Steel 3. Fallen Angel 4. No Point in Tripping 5. I'M SO EXCITED...
Just received the CD in the Post today (in Norway) and to tell you the truth, I had my reservations about the new ERASUE album. I did pre-order it on the strength of their previous album. I had to fight Amazon, who didn't want to sell me the Special Edition, who was reserved for the UK (words were exchanged) but I got the UK limited edition in the end (thanks Amazon, love you!). However, later I thought; did I do a mistake in ordering this album? I didn't like the music video for the "Nerves Of Steel", had I done a big Mistake? The album arrived in the Post today and I can honestly say, it wasn't a mistake at all. Listening to it it now, it is the best Erasure album in decades (in my humble opinion). The sound quality is superb; "Fallen Angel", "No Point In Tripping" and (oh my God) " Shot a Satellite" it is just one amazing track after another. I'm completely flabbergasted (and that is a difficult word for a Norwegian to pronounce). There's a Goth feeling to it, that was always underlying in Erasure's music, there's magic there (Whispering in my ear), there's something new and old. There is Lene Lovich, mixed in with pinch of Depeche Mode and A Flock Of Seagulls and gold dusted as only Erasure knows how to do it. This is the album that saved 2020. THANK YOU ERASURE!

Great album
35 years on & Erasure are still around to show the public how great they really are as The Neon is one fine album.9 out the 10 tracks l really enjoy with one been ok in my eyes &It’s a kind of return to the roots for Erasure with a classic but modern sound.A few tracks may take a few listens to get them but once they do you know they stick in your head & don’t let go like a lot of Erasure songs & that’s what makes Andy & Vince so good in what they do.Overall l would give The Neon 8.5/10 & a highly recommend purchase.

Erasure... Trust the old timers !
Theres is nothing like tapping your toes under the desk whilst listening to this amazing Album. I have to admit that I am an old Erasure fan and lost touch with them for some time but their last few albums I feel see a fabulous return to the old dancing days !
