Amazing rod blank
Another great rod from Daiwa!!! Took a long time to get, Amazon accidently sold me a rod that was out of stock but they made good on it and got it shipped directly from Daiwa to fix the problem.This rod is very well made and I expected it to be great because I already have a Tatula XT that is a pleasure to use.Only complain I have about it is the hook keeper. It is located too far forward above the reel and it is almost impossible to make a overhead cast if you're using thin braid because one out of five casts braid will go around the hook keeper and that definitely sucks.Casting underhand and sideways solves that issue but I might remove the hook keeper at one point and install one under the reel.Nevertheless, this rod is very strong and sensitive and decently light for all day use. I have it paired with Shimano Ultegra 2500 currently and they balance very well and cast effortlessly.Great rods! Highly recommended!
