Good purchase
Screen quality is good, nice speed and perfect size. It doesn't take up a lot of space.

Great tablet for general light duty use. Works well for my purposes.
This seems to be a very nice tablet for my use. I use it mainly for portable data entry into an MS Excel program and running PowerPoint programs. The office program that comes on the tablet is adequate and it will run the Excel & PowerPoint programs but some features are lost. I downloaded the free Excel & PowerPoint apps and they run the programs fine. I set up the programs on my desktop & then transfer to a USB flash drive to load into the tablet. I also downloaded a free file manager app which is much better than the Android file manager. I found out you can download regular fonts onto the tablet so you're not limited to the fonts already there which are quite limited.I haven't used it a lot for email or for surfing the web although it appears to be fairly fast in that area. I would not call this a power tablet but fine for casual use. RE complaints about the keyboard, it is not made for 2 hand power typing - more like 2 finger typing. Its a lot better than trying to use the on-screen keyboard.RE Amazon customer service: About week after I got the tablet, the keyboard stopped working. I tried several times & things to try to get it to work. I sent a note to Amazon saying it was defective and they quickly sent me a return mailer to replace the tablet. The day I received the mailer, the keyboard started working again. Wasn't sure if it was a hardware or software problem. I didn't return it. I've had 1 time again that it stopped working but was able to get it working again pretty quickly. I'm about to conclude that it is a software glitch and not a tablet problem.I am really quite pleased with the tablet.

I know it's cliche, but I wish I could leave zero stars
I usually don't leave negative reviews - I'll put the energy into a review when I REALLY like something, but the activation energy for negative reviews is usually too high. I just feel that I owe it to others to offer my warnings about this paperweight.I thought I was being conscientious by going online and finding an independent review of the RCA tablet - the one I found (a vlog) was apparently done by someone on the take. So, yes, you get what you pay for. The reviews say that the sound system is poor - that is true, but it's about what you'd expect for a $100 tablet. The video resolution is adequate if you aren't too worried about high def.But this thing is S L O W ! ! !When I use it (because I'm too cheap to buy another one for at least a year after I spent $100 on this one), I turn it on and then put it down, pick up my phone, and play a word on Words with Friends. After that, it might be ready to use. Then I click on an icon, maybe my email. Put it down, go to the kitchen to get some more ice in my drink, chat with one of my adults-living-at-home-children who happens to have arisen from the deep for a brief period, then go back to the tablet to see if the email app has launched yet. Probably not, but I needed to pee anyway, so I go take care of that. Speaking of which, if you use your tablet to distract you while you undertake more extended activities in the bathroom, forget about it, unless you opt to cut out all fiber and fluids to make those visits considerably longer. On top of being slow, or maybe related to that issue, it freezes up for extended periods. I might be in the middle of tapping out an email, and it will freeze for 221 seconds or so (I counted one of them this morning), then a message will pop up saying "Outlook app is not responding.... close it? wait ok". If you are unfortunate enough to actually own one of these, I suggest selecting "wait". You've got about 75% chance of it coming back to you with your partially completed email intact, so it's better than closing it out and having a 100% chance of losing it. Oh, and forget about playing any type of game that has a time factor.Sometime during the next 11 months I'll conveniently leave this thing somewhere for another poor sap to find, mysteriously having erased all connections to my personal accounts. Then I'll do a bit more research before I buy a new tablet/pad.

It's cheap and performs just like the price
Bought this used for $70 and I wonder if I should've spent the extra money to get a kindle fire. I wasn't expecting much I was going to use the tablet exclusively for school, but it fails to accomplish even some of the most basic of tasks you would think any electronic device nowadays would be able to do especially a tablet. I cannot stream youtube videos because the video and audio are out of sync and its pretty noticeable. Not only that but if you have ANY app in the background including something like facebook messenger and open another app, 99% of the time the tablet will freeze, and proceed to restart after a period of time. Even when you'e using just 1 app it's insanely slow. I've been trying to get some use out of it for school but just trying to open google drive and open up a file takes at least 5-10 minutes. If there's one thing I actually like about the damn thing is the keyboard. It feels nice to type on and surprisingly isn't TOO small. I thought of the trackpad as a plus when considering buying it but since it can't be disabled like a regular laptop it can get annoying if you type with your palms on the keyboard as it will start randomly moving the cursor around. The absolute worse thing though is the inability to connect to wifi properly. Seems like a pretty important thing to be able to do correctly no? Well, find something else because this tablet will refuse to stay connected to a network for more than 20 seconds. It makes it almost impossible to get anything done. I say almost because my only workaround is tethering my phone to it with a usb and using my mobile data plan. Surprisingly this works albeit very slowly just like a tablet. I'm currently studying at a University so the internet can't get any better than where I'm at and I have no other devices that can't connect to the wifi here. The battery life is surprisingly long as well, but there's really no point to long battery life if you can't do anything. I wouldn't even try to play any games on this thing. Overall I got what I paid for. Lesson learned, try to spend a little extra when considering things like tablets to buy.
