This text offers detailed, thorough, specific strategies for working with students who have disabilities; these strategies also are helpful for working with any student, whether or not he or she has a disability.

Really liked this book! I purchased it because I'm taking a teacher credential class at SJSU that requires the 5th or 6th edition, but I was able to use this one (4th edition) by a little extra searching so as to compare needed content. I was extremely pleased with the value of the book! If you don't mind a little extra work, you'll save a ton of money on the fourth edition compared with the cost of the later editions!!!

This book is full of useful information for teachers. It certainly is practical, as it says on the cover. This book is particularly useful for teachers of bilingual/ELL/TEFL/TESOL/CELTA students and is a must read.Many of the examples given in the book covers instances where English, reading, writing, and speaking are given consideration, along with suggestions for teaching these in an inclusive manner to promote academic performance of ALL students.

This book is for a class I am taking. It is a good compliment to the material taught by the teacher. It is also easy to read and navigate. Instead of certain text books which can sometimes add confusion to a subject by being too wordy or detailed, this book does a good job of presenting topics in an easy to understand format.

It was very helpful to know from before that there are highlighting and markings in the book... but it kinda grossed me out that the cover has a spot with some sorta sticky thing on it. But I guess it was worth it for the much cheaper price than a new book

I needed the book for my class this semester. At the book store the newer edition was like 500 xtimes the expense this book was. I got this older edition and it has worked perfect. Came super fast...condition was as expected.
