Make sure you know a lock Smith before purchase
You will need a key person to program it, it's best to go through a lock Smith which they will charge extra and provide this key. What we did was, we bought this key, then tried to transfer old key to this and it didn't work, until we contact a lock Smith. They program it for us with fees

Worked Perfect for 2009 VW Jetta
Ordered this set to replace the original set of key fob casings. There is no directions that come with the set, but with a quick search on YouTube, I was able to figure out how to switch the internals of the old fob casings to the new ones. If it wasn’t for the missing VW logo on the new set you wouldn’t even be able to tell the difference. Highly recommend.

Solid case
First off the case is a good replica. But 2nd it is not compatible with the oem case. You have to transfer you old blade to the new case. You can't swap your old top portion to the new bottom fob. But it was easy to do since the new case are within tolerance to use the factory blade. The FOB portion gives you a nice little hole to drop the IMMO pill into and then you can use some silicone to hold it in there. I stole the emblem off the glovebox manual and it works great since those are flat backed and not curved like on a factory remote. These new fobs dont have a curved logo indent its flat so replacement logos will have trouble sticking..New key set accomplished for very little. Will definitely use again. When tryin to dig out your old Immo pill it better to cut the case away then pry the pill out. Don't risk breaking it.The new blank blades are brass so any locksmith will cut them. But I just transfer the blades by pinching the oil out with a drift punch. Very small drift punch

Meh...
This is a two section remote/fob. I had to use the new keypad but the old key. So the one half is new and the other half is old. I could not6 for the life of me get the key mech to work. Spring was too weak and kept binding up. At least I have buttons for my daughters car.

2002 Volkswagen Passat 1.8t GLS wagon works but needed a lot of modification!
I purchased these for my 2002 Volkswagen Passat 1.8t GLS wagon key replacement. I did not get the VW stickers. The top and bottom are not interchangeable with the factory key fobs. You have to use the entire new key fob. You can remove the factory metal key blade and put it on the new fob casing without having the remove the tiny pin. The new fob fit the factory circuit board without modifications other than melting the plastic over the board holes to secure the board just like the factory one did. The issues come with the glass transmitter and the key blade. The key blade does need some trimming on the sides to allow it to flick open without getting snagged. The glass transmitter does not have a proper spot in the new key fob. You have to use an exacto or solder tip or something to carve out a proper spot for the glass transmitter. I was able to change both of my keys to this new casing and I am happy with the final product after using it but i am not sure people will be able to do the modification that is needed to fit the glass transmitter. If you are ok with modding this, then it is good to go. The buttons on the fobs both have an audible click which is very nice. Uses the same battery as the old fobs.

Like New!
Everything worked great. My old key guts went in no problem. The problem i had is there was no warning to take the radio frequency chip out of my old plastic shell. Very small pill looking thing that is glued in place on the key side of the shell. Car will not start without it. Heat gun melted the old glue easy enough to get it out. The new slot for the chip is also different and will require something like JB plastic weld to hold it in place. Or else it will definitely fall out. Other than that my key looks Brand spanking new.

Good replacement
This key fubs are great. I little bit of work to get the internals switched from the old key. Totally worth it.
