Is a lot easier to remove .
The wrench head is a lot easier to get on to remove and install the drain plug than the factory one which is a torque star but which can round out of not installed correctly.

Hex head on removal
Looks like good machining, will use next oil change. Can’t believe manufacturers used two different torx sizes, instead of hex head size. That’s an issue waiting to happen.
