The pages are colorful and the instructions are clear enough that my child can work independently without getting frustrated. The paper is thick and durable. I especially love the "Learn" sections at the top of new topics—they provide a quick example that helps kids understand the "why" before they start the "how. A good resource!
I’m a special education teacher, and I picked up this workbook to support my students who need help accessing the math curriculum at their grade level. It’s exactly what I was looking for. The concepts are broken down into manageable steps, the pages are clear and well organized, and the practice aligns perfectly with what they’re expected to learn in class. It’s been a great tool for small group instruction and one-on-one support, and I’ve already seen my students grow in confidence. A solid 5-star resource for anyone looking to reinforce grade-level math skills!

We Enjoy iXL !
The books are better for my homeschoolers they prefer physical touch of their work and something they can claim! I have my 6 & 7 year old on the same level because they pretty much been learning the same since we started homeschooling. I plan to stretch out lessons if one doesn’t understands something (but only for that particular kid). Our goal is Mastery. So far learning is great. The lessons are very easy to teach to them & I know I can add in a video lesson from the online source for extra help. 211 pages of work. Answer sheets in the back make up the rest of the book. & a list of recommendations for other ixl brands your family can use. Which is pretty cool too!

Easy for the kids to follow along
Love it! So easy for my kids to follow along. This is our home school math curriculum. Graphics are great, not overstimulating but still cute little ones along the page. I plan to stick with this curriculum through as long as we can. I feel like that says a lot about how much I like it! I am excited them have more than just a few grades!

High quality math workbook, excellent for my kindergartener
I purchased this workbook for my kindergartener, and I'm very pleased with it so far. The colors and pictures are attractive and motivate her to push herself: on the first night she plowed through 10 pages, and when we woke up in the morning the first thing she wanted to do was more math! I appreciate the heavy emphasis on single-digit addition at the beginning of the book (and the large number of practice problems), since that's the first skill she really needs to master. I could do without the 120 chart, but the explanations of place value and double-digit addition using base 10 blocks is excellent. Lots of practice problems on counting money, measurement, and time as well. And the quality of the paper is excellent--it doesn't rip when she erases. For $10, I'm also really pleased with the price--I think for maybe $30 total (10 for the book, 20 for the base 10 blocks) we can get her an entire year ahead in math.

Perfect book for the grade one student. The book is designed in a way that kid enjoy the math. The rules and techniques are really easy to teach kids. I used to teach one rule and give some extra practices sheets to my kid to remember the rule thoroughly. The perfect Math with Fun book. Highly recommend !
