High quality stainless steel. Minimum acceptable machining quality. They don’t have the precision for surgery, but they do work for grabbing small stuff and holding it. Needed the curved ones for my daughter’s braces, on vacation. The price is perfect for a one-time emergency. But they’ll probably stay in my travel kit moving forward. Or my tackle box.

So glad I got these when I did. My dog got terribly quilled by a porcupine (granted, the porky didn’t do well either). I’d read that sometimes the quills lurk for a bit. I ordered these tools immediately after leaving the ER, just in case. Glad I did! I used them within 5 days, again within 3 months and again within 6 months to pull migrating quills. Great tool on had for a very reasonable price for the value.

Works as well as ones used in hospital

These are a versatile small tool. We use them while fishing to remove hook.They have a secure clasp for a strong hold. Easy to use. Great value for money! These are not sharp.

Both pieces of the forceps work great with what they're intended for. Especially with a lot of multiple uses whether it's tying precise fishing flies or removing splinters from your skin they serve their purpose.

These are excellent for removing swallowed hooks in fish so they can be returned without loosing its life because you can lock onto the hook and carefully remove it. I have a set of these in every tackle box.

You get what you pay for. These are definitely not the highest of quality but will serve the purpose(s) for which I purchased them (DIY projects, general household use). One of the 5-inch and one of the 8-inch clamps would not stay closed because the teeth would not mesh together. I had to slightly bend the clamp handles to correct this. In general, the teeth on all four clamps that I bought don’t mesh together very well. If I had to do it again, I would definitely not purchase again.
